How the Engraving Service Works
Every Aquamarise ring includes complimentary laser engraving in Arial (Print) font, whatever the metal, and the text is set on the inside of the band. Engraving is available on bands 1.4mm wide or wider, and a men’s ring holds up to 25 characters including spaces. Allow an additional one to four business days before an engraved piece ships. Because the wording is cut to your exact text, engraved pieces are final sale — and if what we engrave does not match what you submitted at checkout, we correct it at no charge. Metals That Carry a Pattern
925 sterling silver is a solid alloy — 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper — the same material right through the piece rather than a surface layer, and it is where this page starts on price. 14K gold vermeil bonds a 2.5 micron layer of 10K-or-finer gold over that same sterling base, the minimum the US FTC sets for the term. Solid 14K gold is 58.5% pure and stamped 585; those bands are made to order in three to six weeks and carry a 14-day return window on non-customized pieces. Tungsten carbide is extremely scratch-resistant and heavier in the hand, titanium is lightweight and hypoallergenic, and the Damascus steel band here is pattern-forged from layered steel so the pattern runs through the metal itself.
