At Aquamarise®, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains eligibility requirements, how to start a return, exchange rules for eligible items, refund timelines, and important exclusions for custom and personalized jewelry.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns for eligible non-custom items that do not meet your expectations.

To qualify for a return:

• Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery (based on carrier delivery confirmation).
• Items must be brand-new, unworn, and unaltered, with all original packaging included.
• Items must be returned in resaleable condition, free from scratches, signs of wear, damage, or modifications.

Returns received more than 30 days after delivery are not eligible for a refund. If approved, such returns may be issued store credit only, at our discretion.

Items returned with signs of wear, alteration, or damage may be denied and returned to the sender.


2. Items That Are Final Sale (Not Returnable)

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds:

• Custom, semi-custom, engraved, personalized, or made-to-order pieces, as outlined in our Custom & Personalized Orders Policy

• Replacement items issued under our Replacement Policy, including goodwill replacements and corrected remakes

• Any item marked Final Sale at the time of purchase (if applicable)

If you believe you received an incorrect item or there is a quality issue, please contact us so we can review it under our Replacement Policy.


3. How to Start a Return

To start a return, email help@aquamarise.com within the return window and include:

  • Your order number

  • The email used at checkout

  • The item(s) you are returning

  • The reason for return (optional but helpful)

Once approved, you will receive return instructions. You may also submit a return request through our return portal


4. Return Shipping (U.S. Orders)

For eligible U.S. returns, Aquamarise® provides a prepaid return shipping label for your convenience.

  • A $7 postage fee will be deducted from your refund when using our prepaid label.

  • Returns shipped using a personal carrier are the customer’s responsibility. Aquamarise® is not liable for loss, theft, or damage in transit when a personal label is used.

We recommend retaining a drop-off receipt and tracking information until your return is confirmed as delivered.


5. International Returns & Duties

International customers may return eligible items, subject to the same condition requirements.

Please note:

  • International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • All international returns must be shipped with duties/taxes prepaid (Delivered Duty Paid / DDP where applicable).

  • Packages returned with unpaid duties may be refused and returned to the sender.

  • Original shipping charges, import duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Customs processing delays may occur and are outside of our control.


6. Restocking Fees

Solid Gold & Platinum (Made-to-Order Fine Jewelry)
Because solid gold and platinum items are typically made-to-order, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from approved refunds for these items.

No Restocking Fees (Standard Materials)
There are no restocking fees on:

  • Sterling silver

  • Vermeil

  • Stainless steel

  • Titanium

  • Tungsten carbide


7. Refund Processing Timeline

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Refunds are issued within 7 business days of receiving your return.

  • After a refund is issued, banks may take an additional 3–7 business days to post the funds.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Important: Shipping fees and customs duties are non-refundable.


Exchanges

8. One-Time Complimentary Exchange (Eligible U.S. Orders)

Aquamarise® offers a one-time complimentary exchange for eligible non-custom U.S. orders, excluding solid gold and platinum pieces.

To qualify:

  • Exchange requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, in brand-new condition, with original packaging included.

  • Exchanges are limited to:

    • Ring size adjustments (when applicable), or

    • Product variations of equal or lesser value

Once approved, you will receive a prepaid return label and exchange instructions.


9. Additional Exchange Rules & Fees

  • Only one exchange per order qualifies for complimentary shipping.

  • A $10 postage fee applies to any second exchange request.

  • If you return an item after a previous free exchange, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.


10. International Exchanges

For international exchange requests:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.

  • Any exchange shipment must be sent with duties prepaid to ensure delivery.


Order Changes

11. Changing an Order or Shipping Address

If you need to change an order or update your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible.

  • Customers with an Aquamarise account may update their shipping address by logging in.

  • Once an order has been fulfilled or shipped, changes may no longer be possible.
