Complimentary in Arial
Arial (Print) engraving is included on all Aquamarise® rings in every material, and applies to both rings in a couples' set. Custom or decorative fonts are $25.
Arial by default
Clean and legible. On dainty or narrow bands, simpler fonts read best, so we recommend Arial for rings under 3mm wide and will tell you if a decorative script won't work on your ring.
16 or 25 characters
Women's rings take up to 16 characters and men's up to 25, including spaces. Unsure your message fits? Contact us and we'll confirm before you order.
Bands 1.4mm and wider
Engravings sit inside the band next to the metal hallmark, such as 925A on sterling silver or Tungsten Carbide on tungsten rings. The hallmark cannot be removed.

Engraving Policy: Returns, Changes and Quality
Because engraving personalizes your piece to your exact specifications, engraved items are final sale. We stand behind our work with a quality guarantee, but aesthetic preferences are not grounds for refunds. This protects both the integrity of custom work and your investment.

Engraved pieces cannot be returned or exchanged, because personalized jewelry cannot be resold. See our Custom & Personalized Orders Policy for full details. If you ordered the wrong size, resizing is quoted per piece depending on the metal and the work involved. Contact us for a quote.
Quality guarantee
If the engraved text does not match what you submitted at checkout, we correct it at no charge. If it matches and meets our quality standards, the engraving is complete. Depth, font appearance and centering preferences are not grounds for refunds. Results vary slightly by metal, band width and design: softer gold can show a different depth than harder tungsten. Review your text carefully before submitting, because what you type is exactly what we engrave.
Changes and cancellations
Need to change or cancel your engraving? Contact us immediately. We process orders quickly, and once the ring enters production and laser engraving has started, changes cannot be made.

Does Aquamarise® offer complimentary engraving?
Yes. Engraving in our standard Arial font is free on every Aquamarise® ring in every material, and covers both rings in a couples' set. Custom or decorative fonts are $25. Contact us before ordering to discuss font options.
How many characters can I engrave?
The standard limit is 16 characters for women's rings and 25 for men's rings, including spaces. The exact count depends on the ring's size and design, so contact us if you're unsure whether your message will fit.
Can I engrave a custom symbol or logo?
We can engrave these symbols: ♥ ♡ ☾ ✩ ★ ✿ ♬ ♯ • ■. For other symbols, logos or icons, contact us before ordering and send the design as an SVG file. We do our best to accommodate custom designs but cannot guarantee legibility on very narrow or dainty rings.
Can I return an engraved ring?
No. Engraved pieces are personalized to your specifications and are final sale. If the engraved text does not match what you submitted at checkout, we correct it at no charge. For sizing issues, resizing is available at an additional charge. Contact us for details.
What if I don't like how the engraving looks?
If the engraving matches the text you submitted and meets our quality standards, it is complete. Preferences about depth, font appearance or centering are not grounds for refunds or corrections. Laser engraving varies slightly by metal type, band width and ring design, so review spelling, spacing, punctuation and capitalization carefully before submitting.
How long does engraving take?
Engraving adds 1 to 4 business days on average, on top of standard production and shipping.
