Aquamarise Warranty
Every Aquamarise piece is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects, in every metal we sell. Here are the exact terms, plainly stated — what counts as a defect, and what counts as wear.
This Limited Warranty sets forth the legal terms governing warranty coverage for jewelry purchased from Aquamarise®. Please read it carefully — it defines your rights and obligations. It applies only to jewelry purchased directly from Aquamarise and is valid only for the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.
Warranty Coverage
Aquamarise LLC, 305 Government Avenue, Niceville, FL 32578, warrants that its jewelry will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the warranty period below. A manufacturing defect is a flaw in how the piece was made — a casting void, a failed solder joint, a prong or bezel that breaks without impact, a setting that was faulty when made. This is a limited warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Coverage applies only to items purchased directly from Aquamarise or an authorized channel, for the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase (your order number).

What Is & Isn't Covered
This warranty covers how the piece was made, not how it was worn. It does not cover damage from wear, care or handling. Every claim is assessed by our studio. We may require the piece to be returned for inspection before any repair, replacement or credit, and we decide each claim on the condition of the piece: a ring that is bent, dented, scratched through or otherwise damaged is treated as accidental damage even if a stone is missing. Replaced parts become our property, and a piece that has been altered or repaired by anyone else is no longer covered. We explain every decision in writing.
- Casting porosity, cracks or voids in the metal present when the piece left our studio
- Failed solder joints, split shanks and broken prongs, bezels or claws not caused by impact or pressure
- Stones that fall out because the setting was faulty when made, within 12 months of delivery, where the ring shows no bending, dents, impact marks or other damage
- Clasps, jump rings, posts and chain links that fail under normal use because of a construction fault
- Normal wear & tear — scratches, dents, dulling, thinning bands, worn prongs, stretched chains
- Gold vermeil, rhodium, black ruthenium and other plated finishes — wearing, fading, flaking or peeling of any kind. A finish is a layer of metal over a base metal and is affected by friction, cosmetics, chemicals and skin chemistry; re-plating is a paid service
- Tarnish and discoloration, which polish away
- Bent, crushed, cracked or chipped pieces, including tungsten carbide that fractures from a drop or blow, and stones chipped by impact
- Stones lost from a ring that is bent, dented or otherwise damaged, or lost through an accident, knock or snag — the stone loss is treated as accidental damage, not a setting defect
- Loss or theft of the piece itself, for any reason
- Chemical exposure — chlorine, bleach, cleaning agents, cosmetics — and wear while swimming, exercising, sleeping or doing manual work
- Work by any jeweler other than Aquamarise (alter, resize, repair, modify, clean)
- Natural characteristics of the materials — inclusions, color variation in moss agate, opal, sandstone and meteorite, patina on meteorite inlays, the color change of alexandrite
- Engraving errors where the text was engraved as submitted
Repair or Replacement
If a covered defect appears during the warranty period, Aquamarise will, at its option, repair the piece, replace it with the same or an equivalent piece, or, if the piece or its materials are discontinued, issue store credit for the price you paid. Repairs and replacements are warranted for the remainder of the original period. Replacements may differ slightly because of gemstone variation or design updates.
Bent or misshapen rings. Bending is caused by pressure or impact and is not a manufacturing defect. We reshape sterling silver, gold vermeil, solid gold and platinum rings for a flat fee, and the first reshaping within 12 months of delivery is complimentary as a courtesy. Tungsten carbide and titanium cannot be reshaped; damaged bands in those metals are replaced at a discount under our Replacement Policy.
Paid care, for life. Re-plating of vermeil, rhodium and black ruthenium finishes from $35 per ring; stone replacement and re-setting quoted by stone; polishing, cleaning and prong tightening from $20. Solid gold and platinum rings include one complimentary resizing within 30 days of delivery; other metals use the free size exchange because they cannot be resized.
Claim Process
Confirmed defects are repaired or replaced at no cost. Issues that don't qualify are quoted as paid repairs before any work is done; you can accept the quote or have the piece returned. Start a claim on our Contact Us page or by email.
Shipping Responsibility
Approved warranty claims from U.S. customers receive a prepaid shipping label. For paid repairs, and for international customers, you cover shipping to our studio; we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us when a carrier we did not provide is used. Return shipping to you is always provided by Aquamarise.
Non-Transferability
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
No Insurance Coverage
This warranty is not insurance. It does not cover loss, theft, accidental damage or normal wear and tear. We encourage independent jewelry insurance for additional protection.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aquamarise is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages — including loss of use, loss of value or the sentimental value of a piece. Total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the item. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
This Limited Warranty is the only express warranty Aquamarise gives for its jewelry and replaces any other statement on product pages, packaging or in correspondence. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties — including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are limited in duration to the express warranty period above for the relevant component. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Governing Law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are resolved as described in our Terms of Service. Nothing here limits any statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, including the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
