Soft as a clear winter sky, luminous as an heirloom. This vintage radiant-cut sky blue topaz ring sets a serene, pale-blue topaz within a sparkling halo, wrapped in delicate filigree scrollwork that looks handed down through generations. Crafted in solid 925 sterling silver with a bright, polished finish, it is a vintage-inspired blue topaz ring for anyone who loves romance with a whisper of old-world grace.
A vintage halo silhouette
A shimmering halo encircles the center stone, adding sparkle and making the topaz appear even larger and brighter, while graceful scrollwork along the band introduces true vintage filigree detailing. The effect is a romantic, heirloom-inspired look with a balanced, elegant silhouette — the kind of ring that feels timeless rather than trend-led. It belongs among our topaz engagement rings and our wider topaz jewelry collection.
The natural sky blue topaz
The centerpiece is a genuine natural sky blue topaz, radiant-cut at a generous 9 x 6 mm and chosen for its vibrant clarity and serene, pale-blue color. The radiant cut combines the crisp outline of an emerald cut with brilliant faceting, so the stone glitters with life while keeping an elegant rectangular symmetry. Topaz is one of the harder colored gemstones, which is exactly why it holds its polish through years of everyday wear. If you are weighing this cool sky-blue against a warm golden gem, our guide to how topaz and citrine compare is a helpful read. You will find more calming blues across our topaz couples rings. To see where topaz sits in the long history of treasured gems, our feature on the history and symbolism of gemstones is a lovely read.
A brilliant halo of accents
The halo is set with bright simulated diamond accents that add extra sparkle and dimension, catching the light around the soft blue center and lifting the whole design. It is an affordable, luminous way to bring classic engagement-ring shimmer to a vintage silhouette. Prefer a lab-grown diamond or moissanite halo instead? Message us — most of our designs can be upgraded.
Solid sterling silver with a bright finish
The ring is crafted in solid 925 sterling silver with a bright, high-polish finish that complements the cool blue of the topaz beautifully. Every sterling silver ring we make carries a rhodium finish — the same precious metal used on fine white gold — for a mirror-white luster and an added layer of protection that helps resist tarnish and everyday scratches, keeping the filigree crisp and freshly polished.

Sizing & care
Choose your size at checkout. If you are between sizes or unsure, we are happy to help — and if the fit is not quite right, resizing is available and starts from a modest fee. To keep the topaz and rhodium finish at their brightest, remove the ring before showering, swimming or applying lotions, and store it in its box when not worn. A soft, dry cloth restores the shine and keeps the filigree detailing looking its best. For nature-inspired alternatives, explore our nature-inspired engagement rings.

Frequently asked questions
Is the sky blue topaz natural?
Yes. The center is a genuine natural sky blue topaz, radiant-cut to highlight its serene, pale-blue color and vibrant clarity.
What is a radiant cut?
A radiant cut pairs the crisp rectangular outline of an emerald cut with brilliant, fiery faceting, so the stone sparkles with life while keeping an elegant, balanced symmetry.
What shade is sky blue topaz?
Sky blue is the softest, palest blue in the topaz family — a serene, clear color like a bright winter sky, calmer and lighter than deep London blue.
How big is the center stone?
The radiant-cut topaz measures approximately 9 x 6 mm — a generous, eye-catching size made to look even larger within its sparkling halo.
What are the halo accents?
Bright simulated diamond accents form the halo, adding sparkle and dimension around the soft blue center. If you would prefer a lab-grown diamond or moissanite halo, reach out and we will tailor it for you.
What metal is the ring made from?
Solid 925 sterling silver with a bright, high-polish rhodium finish for a mirror-white luster and extra protection against tarnish and scratches.
What does the rhodium finish do?
Rhodium is the same precious metal used to finish fine white gold. It gives the silver a bright, white-gold-like shine and adds a protective layer that keeps the filigree looking freshly polished.
Is topaz durable enough for daily wear?
Yes. Topaz is one of the harder colored gemstones at 8 on the Mohs scale, so it holds its polish and wears gracefully with normal care. Avoid hard knocks and remove the ring for rough activities.
Is this a good vintage engagement ring?
Absolutely. The halo, filigree scrollwork and soft blue center make it an elegant vintage-inspired engagement ring, alternative bridal ring, or anniversary gift.
Is the band comfortable to wear?
Yes. The ring has a comfort-fit band and a hypoallergenic, nickel-free rhodium finish, so it sits smoothly and comfortably for everyday wear.
Is blue topaz a birthstone?
Blue topaz is celebrated as a December birthstone, making this ring a heartfelt gift for winter-born loved ones as well as a beautiful everyday piece.
How do I care for the ring?
Remove it before showering, swimming or applying lotions, store it in its box, and buff with a soft dry cloth to restore shine. Gentle care keeps both the topaz and the rhodium finish luminous.
What size should I order?
Select your ring size at checkout. If you are unsure or between sizes, contact us for guidance. Resizing is available and starts from a modest fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Find my ring size link beside the Add to Cart button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
