The Design
Four leaves radiate from the center stone, each cut with fine veining. On either shoulder, five heart cut accents open around a single bead in the manner of a blossom, and a marquise side stone closes each side. The band tapers to 2 mm at the back, keeping the proportion light against the width of the crown.
A prong-set cluster carries a colored center stone well: the stone sits high and open, so light reaches it from every angle rather than being shut in by metal. The Pink Sapphire

This stone is lab-grown, with the same chemistry and hardness as mined corundum and a clear, even pink that is scarce in nature at this size. The cut is what sets it apart. Rather than the standard brilliant faceting, the crown is carved as a fantasy cut — concave facets radiating from a single point so light breaks into a starburst across the face of the stone. It is a labor-intensive style, rarely seen at this size, and it gives the stone a sense of internal movement as the hand turns.
Metal and Stones
The ring is solid 925 sterling silver throughout with a rhodium finish — the same platinum-group metal used on white gold. The rhodium is what gives the bright white surface, and it shields the silver underneath from tarnishing. Solid sterling, hallmarked, which is what makes it resizable and repairable.
The bright polished silver is the warmer counterpart to the same design in black ruthenium: where the blackened version reads gothic, this one reads soft and botanical, and the white metal lifts the pink rather than deepening it.

Care
Sapphire is 9 on the Mohs scale and among the most durable stones for daily wear. Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Avoid abrasive polishes and chlorine, both of which wear the rhodium finish. Store in the velvet box rather than loose with other jewelry; after years of daily wear the ring can be refinished.

Is the pink sapphire real?
Yes. It is a genuine sapphire, lab-grown rather than mined — identical in chemistry, hardness and optical behavior to natural corundum. The difference is origin, not authenticity.
Why choose a lab-grown sapphire?

What is a fantasy cut?
