The Design
Odette is a tiara in miniature. The pear aquamarine sits point-up at the center, with three round stones clustered above it like the peak of a crown and a single round stone below. On each side the band rises into a scrolled arch — two curls of silver meeting at a marquise accent — before settling back into a plain polished shank. Worn, it reads as a small crown across the finger.
It belongs to the family of vintage-inspired engagement rings rather than anything modern: the scrollwork, the open gallery and the crown silhouette all come from the same place. Our pear-shaped engagement ring guide covers how to wear the shape and why it elongates the finger.
If you are choosing between this and a plainer setting, engagement ring styles and setting types walks through the trade-offs.
The Aquamarine
The center stone is natural aquamarine, the blue variety of beryl — the same mineral family as emerald — cut as a 4 × 7 mm pear. The color is a clear, pale sea-blue, lighter than sapphire and cooler than blue topaz, and it holds its tone in both daylight and lamplight. Our aquamarine guide explains how the stone is graded.
At 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale aquamarine is one of the harder colored stones, well suited to daily wear. It is the March birthstone — see our March birthstone ring guide — and the accents around it are round and marquise cubic zirconia, chosen to frame the pale blue without competing with it.
Aquamarine is a lighter stone than it photographs; in person the color is delicate rather than saturated. If you want deeper blue, aquamarine vs sapphire sets the two side by side.
Metal
The band is solid 925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish — the same platinum-group metal used on white gold, giving the bright mirror surface and shielding the silver from tarnishing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the aquamarine real?
Yes. The center stone is natural, mined aquamarine — the blue variety of beryl — not glass or simulated stone. The accent stones are cubic zirconia.
Is aquamarine a birthstone?
Yes — aquamarine is the March birthstone.
Is aquamarine durable enough for daily wear?
Yes. Aquamarine is 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale, harder than quartz and most colored stones, and the pear is prong-set with its point protected by the crown.
How blue is the stone?
Pale and clear — a light sea-blue rather than a deep sapphire blue. It is lighter in person than most photographs suggest.
Does the crown sit high on the finger?
Moderately. The center stone sits above the band so the tiara silhouette reads from the side, but the gallery is open and the profile is slimmer than a cathedral setting.
What is the ring made of?
Solid 925 sterling silver throughout, hallmarked, with a rhodium finish for a bright white surface. No brass or base metal.
Will the silver tarnish?
The rhodium finish acts as a barrier, so it resists the darkening untreated sterling develops. The finish does wear thin after years of daily wear — we can refinish the ring when it does.
What sizes are available?
Sizes 4 through 11, including every half size. If you are between sizes, our ring sizer is the safest way to check before ordering.
Can I have it engraved?
Yes. Engraving is available on the inner band, up to 16 characters, and can be added as an option at checkout.
Is it available in gold?
Yes — this design can be made in solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold as a custom order, with moissanite or lab-grown diamond accents if you prefer them to cubic zirconia.
Are the stones ethically sourced?
Yes. All Aquamarise stones are conflict-free and responsibly sourced, and every order arrives in a free luxury velvet jewelry box.
