A certified diamond, an heirloom setting. This radiant-cut solitaire centers an IGI-certified lab-grown diamond — D color, VVS clarity — in hand-pierced vintage filigree and a milgrain bezel, all in solid white gold — 10K, 14K, or 18K, or platinum. A genuine diamond with an independent grading report, the brilliance of the radiant cut, and the romance of antique scrollwork, in a ring made to be treasured and passed down.
The lab-grown diamond
The center is a genuine lab-grown diamond — a real diamond, chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined one, simply created in a controlled lab rather than dug from the earth. It has the same legendary sparkle and the same perfect 10 on the Mohs scale hardness, with the advantage of being ethical, conflict-free, more sustainable, and far more accessible than a mined stone. This is not a simulant like cubic zirconia or moissanite — it is true diamond. To learn how these stones are grown and graded, read our complete guide to lab-grown diamonds, or browse more lab-grown diamond engagement rings.
IGI certified, D color, VVS clarity
This diamond is independently certified by IGI (the International Gemological Institute), so its quality is documented and verified rather than simply described. It is graded D color — the very highest, completely colorless grade — and VVS clarity (very, very slightly included), meaning any inclusions are invisible to the naked eye. In short: a top-tier, ice-white, eye-flawless diamond, with the paperwork to prove it.
The radiant cut
The radiant cut combines the clean rectangular outline of an emerald cut with the brilliant, scintillating facet pattern of a round — the best of both worlds. The result is a shape that looks elegant and substantial on the hand while throwing tremendous sparkle from every angle, showing off the diamond's exceptional clarity and color.
Vintage filigree & bezel setting
The diamond sits in a milgrain bezel — a slim gold rim edged with tiny beads — that protects the stone and frames it with antique character. Flowing down each shoulder is hand-pierced filigree scrollwork, the delicate open metalwork that defines vintage and Art Nouveau jewelry, giving the ring a romantic, heirloom feel that sets it apart from a plain solitaire.
Choose your metal: 10K, 14K, 18K white gold, or platinum
This ring is crafted in solid white gold — genuine precious metal all the way through, never plated or filled — and you choose your karat from the drop-down. 10K is the most durable and most affordable, with the highest everyday toughness. 14K is the classic balance of purity, durability, and value, and it is our most popular default. 18K has the highest gold content for the richest, most luxurious feel. You can also choose platinum — a premium, naturally white precious metal that is denser and heavier on the hand, hypoallergenic, and never needs re-plating to stay bright. Whichever you pick, the cool white color is permanent: solid white gold and platinum will not tarnish, fade, or turn your skin green. If you would like help deciding, see our 10K vs 14K vs 18K gold karat comparison guide. Other colors — yellow or rose gold — are available on request.
Ethically made
A lab-grown diamond is an inherently ethical, conflict-free choice with a smaller footprint than mined stones — part of our commitment to a more transparent, sustainable jewelry industry. A real diamond you can feel good about wearing, with no compromise between quality and conscience. If you are still exploring, browse the rest of our women's engagement rings to find the shape and setting that feel like you.

Care
Solid gold and diamond are both wonderfully easy to care for. Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth to keep the gold gleaming and the diamond brilliant. Store it separately to avoid scratching other pieces, and remove it before harsh cleaning, swimming in chlorinated pools, or heavy manual work.
Lab Grown Diamond Ring FAQs
Is this a real diamond?
Yes — a lab-grown diamond is a genuine diamond, chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined one. It is not a simulant like cubic zirconia or moissanite; it is true diamond, simply created in a lab rather than mined.
What does IGI certified mean?
IGI is the International Gemological Institute, an independent gemological laboratory. An IGI-certified diamond has been graded and documented by experts, so its color, clarity, cut, and carat are verified rather than simply described.
What do D color and VVS clarity mean?
D color is the highest, completely colorless grade — the stone is pure white with no tint. VVS clarity (very, very slightly included) means any inclusions are invisible to the naked eye. Together they describe a top-tier, ice-white, eye-flawless diamond.
How is a lab-grown diamond different from a mined one?
They are identical in every physical and chemical way — same hardness, sparkle, and durability. The difference is origin: a lab-grown diamond is created in a controlled lab, making it conflict-free, more sustainable, and more affordable than a mined diamond.
Does it come with the certificate?
Yes — the center diamond is IGI certified with an independent grading report. If you would like the report details or number, just reach out and we will be glad to provide them.
What is a radiant cut?
The radiant cut blends the clean rectangular outline of an emerald cut with the brilliant faceting of a round cut, giving you an elegant shape with tremendous sparkle from every angle.
How long until my ring ships?
This ring is made to order just for you in your chosen metal, so please allow approximately 4–6 weeks of production time before it ships.
What is the setting style?
The diamond sits in a milgrain bezel — a beaded gold rim that protects it — with hand-pierced filigree scrollwork down the shoulders for a vintage, heirloom look.
Which metal should I choose?
It comes down to feel and budget. 10K is the most durable and most affordable, 14K is our most popular all-around choice, and 18K has the highest gold content for the most luxurious feel. Platinum is a premium, naturally white precious metal that is denser, hypoallergenic, and never needs re-plating. All of them stay bright white and will not turn your skin green — see our 10K vs 14K vs 18K gold karat comparison guide for the full breakdown.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes — it is genuine precious metal throughout, not plated or filled. You choose solid white gold in your chosen karat — 10K, 14K, or 18K — or solid platinum, for a bright white, lifetime-quality setting that frames the colorless diamond beautifully.
Will it tarnish or turn my finger green?
No. Solid white gold and platinum are non-reactive precious metals that do not tarnish or turn skin green, keeping their bright finish with normal care for years to come.
How durable is it for everyday wear?
Exceptionally durable. Diamond is a perfect 10 on the Mohs scale — the hardest material used in jewelry — so it resists scratches beautifully, and set in solid gold it is built for daily wear.
How do I choose my ring size?
Simply select your size from the dropdown at checkout. Since this ring is made to order, we recommend confirming your size first — a local jeweler can measure your finger for the most accurate fit.
How should I care for it?
Clean with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth. Store it separately to avoid scratches, and remove it before harsh cleaning, swimming in chlorinated pools, or heavy manual work.
Is it ethically made, and does it arrive gift-ready?
Yes to both. A lab-grown diamond is an inherently ethical, conflict-free choice, and every ring ships in a free luxury velvet box, ready for proposing or gifting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
