Named for an elm at the edge of an enchanted wood, the Elowen is a kite moss agate ring set in solid 14K white gold — two rings, one story. At the center of the engagement ring sits an approximately 2 carat kite-cut natural moss agate, its green inclusions drifting like the first day of spring, lifted by colorless moissanite accents and completed by a matching band. Cool white gold, living green stone: the Spring Court, worn on one finger.
The Engagement Ring
A kite-cut natural moss agate, approximately 7.0 x 10.0 mm and ~2.0 carats, framed by colorless moissanite accents on a delicate ~1.6 mm band. Every stone is one of a kind.
The Matching Band
The second ring of the set, designed to sit alongside the engagement ring and complete the stacked bridal look — one cohesive silhouette, ready for the aisle.
Why the kite cut changes everything
The kite cut is geometry with a wild streak: four sides, two long points, and a silhouette that reads both modern and elven at once. On moss agate it earns its keep twice over — the elongated table becomes a wide window into the stone’s mossy interior, and the angular outline sharpens what is otherwise a soft, organic gem. It is the cut we reach for when a stone’s inclusions deserve an audience; our comparison of the best cuts for moss agate engagement rings explains why kite tops the list, and you can see the whole genre in our kite cut moss agate engagement rings collection.
A stone that arrives one of a kind
The center stone is natural moss agate, approximately 7.0 x 10.0 mm and around 2.0 carats, with a hardness of 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale. Its green inclusions formed organically — each stone is patterned like a miniature forest, and no two are alike, so the set you receive exists nowhere else. Gemologist certification of the natural moss agate is available on request. If you are budgeting for the stone itself, our moss agate price guide shows what drives value.
Moissanite, playing the light
Colorless moissanite accents trace the design with a celestial shimmer. Moissanite is a genuine lab-grown gemstone — silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale — with more fire than diamond, which makes it the perfect supporting cast: durable enough for every day, bright enough to make the green center feel lit by starlight.
Solid white gold, or platinum
Choose your metal from the drop-down: 10K solid white gold for maximum durability at the friendliest price, 14K for the classic balance most of our couples pick, 18K for the highest gold content, or solid platinum — denser, hypoallergenic, and naturally white. Every option is solid precious metal through and through, so the color is permanent. Other colors are available on request; the 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat guide settles the debate in five minutes.
Made for the Spring Court
Rebirth, nature, light — the Elowen leans into the season of beginnings, which is exactly what a bridal set should do. It belongs to our Spring Court jewelry line and keeps company with the rest of our moss agate engagement rings and wedding ring sets for women if you want to compare sets before committing.

Sizing & care
Select your size from the drop-down — half and quarter sizes are offered — and note that sizing can vary slightly between jewelers, so our find-your-size guide is worth five minutes before you order. Day to day, take the set off for heavy work, showers, and harsh chemicals, then clean with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth. Curious about the shower question specifically? We answered whether you can shower with a moss agate ring in full.
Frequently asked questions
What is included in this set?
Two rings: the kite-cut moss agate engagement ring and its matching band, designed together and sold together as a two-piece set.
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes. The center stone is natural moss agate with organically formed inclusions — each one is unique, and gemologist certification is available on request.
How big is the center stone?
The kite-cut moss agate measures approximately 7.0 x 10.0 mm, or roughly 2.0 carats — a substantial presence that still wears comfortably on a ~1.6 mm band.
What is a kite cut?
A four-sided geometric cut shaped like a kite, with elongated points at top and bottom. It gives moss agate a large open table to display its inclusions and lends the set a modern, elven character.
Are the accent stones diamonds?
They are colorless moissanite — a genuine lab-grown gemstone with more fire than diamond and a 9.25 Mohs hardness, chosen for brilliance and durability rather than imitation.
Is the set solid gold?
Yes. Both rings are crafted in your choice of solid 10K, 14K, or 18K white gold, or solid platinum — precious metal all the way through, with permanent color.
Which metal should I choose?
10K is the most durable and budget-friendly, 14K is the most popular balance of strength and purity, 18K carries the highest gold content, and platinum is a denser, naturally white, hypoallergenic premium choice.
Is moss agate durable enough for a bridal set?
Yes, with sensible habits. At 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale it is a quartz-family stone that wears well daily — remove the rings for rough work and harsh chemicals and they will last for decades.
Can I shower or swim wearing the set?
We recommend taking it off first. Soap film dulls the stone’s surface and hot water plus chemicals are hard on any ring — a few seconds of habit keeps the set brilliant.
Will my set look exactly like the photos?
The metalwork will; the stone will be close but never identical. Every natural moss agate carries its own pattern of inclusions, so your set is genuinely one of a kind.
Can the rings be engraved?
Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. Add your names, date, or a phrase from your story in the order notes.
How long does production take?
Each set is made to order; please allow 3–5 weeks for production. Custom gemstone options are also available on request — contact us for a quote.
Is an appraisal available?
Yes, an optional appraisal is available; note that it is non-refundable once completed. Gemologist certification of the natural moss agate can also be requested.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.
🚚 United States
Shipping is added once your ring is finished. These are the options you will see at checkout:
- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22
- FedEx Overnight — $35
Please note: upgraded shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten the 3–6 week production time. Transit estimates begin the day your ring ships, not the day you order, and can vary with carrier delays. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
🌍 International
We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.
For many countries, duties and taxes can be prepaid at checkout for a smoother delivery — if prepaid, no additional fees are due on arrival. Customs fees are set by your country and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.
CHARACTER LIMITS
Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
