Two rings, engineered to outsparkle one. This teardrop moissanite engagement ring set pairs a halo-framed 6 x 8 mm pear-cut moissanite on a twisted, stone-lined band with its perfectly matched chevron wedding band — a D-color, VVS1-clarity center with more fire than a diamond, in solid white gold or platinum, at a fraction of a diamond’s price.
The Engagement Ring
A pear-cut moissanite inside a shimmering halo, riding a twisted band accented with moissanite stones — movement and light from every angle.
The Chevron Band
A moissanite-set V-shaped band that traces the teardrop’s point and nests flush against the engagement ring — no gap, no overlap, pure symmetry.
More Fire Than a Diamond
Moissanite is a genuine gemstone in its own right — silicon carbide, born in a lab, with a higher refractive index than diamond and more than double its dispersion. In plain terms: it throws bigger, more colorful flashes of light. The center stone is GRA certified at D color and VVS1 clarity, fully colorless and eye-clean. If you are weighing the two stones, our guide answering whether moissanite is a lab-grown diamond settles the confusion — and explains why many couples deliberately choose the stone with the bigger sparkle and the smaller price.
The Teardrop, Twice Framed
The pear-cut center tapers to a point that elongates the finger, while the halo widens its glow and the twisted band scatters accent light below it. Then the chevron band repeats the geometry: its V-shape echoes the teardrop’s point, so the two rings read as one sculpted piece when worn together. Explore more of the silhouette in our pear moissanite engagement rings, or see how other pairings are built in our wedding ring sets for women.
A Set That Solves the Band Problem
Most engagement rings meet their wedding band years apart — and it shows, in gaps and mismatched metal. This set was designed as a pair from the first sketch: same metal, same stones, same finish, with the chevron cut to sit flush against the twisted band. One decision now, zero regret later, and a combined look that costs less than many single diamond rings. Browse the wider moissanite engagement rings collection to see what the stone makes possible.
Solid Precious Metal, Four Ways
Both rings are crafted in your choice of solid 10K white gold (hardest, most affordable), 14K (the most popular balance), 18K (richest gold content), or naturally white, hypoallergenic platinum — select it from the drop-down. The construction matches everything in our solid gold rings collection: precious metal to the core. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat guide helps you pick.

Sizing & Care
Order both rings in your measured size — check it with our ring size guide, since sizing can vary up to half a size between jewelers’ tools. At 9 to 9.25 on the Mohs scale, moissanite is harder than sapphire and built for daily wear: warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush keep both rings blazing, and its fire never dulls with age. Skip harsh chemicals, and stack the chevron behind the engagement ring so the V hugs the teardrop’s point. Ships free within the USA in a free luxury ring box.
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is included in this set?
Two matched rings: the teardrop moissanite engagement ring with halo and twisted accent band, and the coordinating chevron wedding band set with moissanite stones, both in your chosen metal and size.
Is moissanite a fake diamond?
No — it is a genuine gemstone called silicon carbide, with its own chemistry and optics. It is not an imitation of anything: it actually shows more fire and rainbow sparkle than a diamond does.
Does moissanite really sparkle more than a diamond?
Yes. Moissanite has a higher refractive index (2.65 vs 2.42) and over twice the dispersion, so it throws larger, more colorful flashes of light — the effect is most dramatic in sunlight.
What does GRA certified D / VVS1 mean?
The center stone is graded by GRA at D color — fully colorless — and VVS1 clarity, meaning any inclusions are nearly impossible to see even under magnification. A GRA certificate is included; other certifications are available at additional cost.
Is moissanite durable enough for everyday wear?
Absolutely. At 9 to 9.25 on the Mohs scale, moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones on earth — harder than sapphire and ruby — and it resists scratching, chipping, and clouding for a lifetime of daily wear.
How do the two rings fit together?
The wedding band’s chevron V is shaped to trace the teardrop’s point, so it nests flush against the twisted engagement band with no gap. Worn together they read as one continuous, symmetrical design.
How big does the 6 x 8 mm teardrop look?
Generous. The elongated pear outline and surrounding halo stretch its visible footprint well beyond its approximate 1.4 carats, and the low price of moissanite means you get that spread without the diamond markup.
Will moissanite pass a diamond tester?
Most standard thermal testers read moissanite as diamond because the two conduct heat similarly. Our guide on whether moissanite passes a diamond tester covers the details.
Which metal should I choose?
10K white gold is the hardest and most affordable, 14K is the most popular all-rounder, 18K carries the richest gold content, and platinum is naturally white, denser, and hypoallergenic — ideal for sensitive skin.
Can other metal colors be made?
Yes — yellow gold and rose gold are available in the same karats. Contact us before ordering and we will arrange your preferred color.
Can the rings be engraved?
Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. Add a date, initials, or a phrase that belongs to just the two of you.
How long until my set ships?
Each set is made to order and takes approximately 3 to 5 weeks to handcraft. Requested modifications may extend the production timeline.
Why choose moissanite over a diamond for a set?
Value without compromise. Choosing moissanite means both rings — center, halo, and every accent — cost a fraction of a single comparable diamond ring, while sparkling harder and standing up to daily wear just as well.
✨ Production time

- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.

Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
