Moonlight, captured and set in blush gold. This moonstone engagement ring set holds a natural 1.6-carat oval moonstone whose blue-white shimmer — the phenomenon gemologists call adularescence — drifts across the stone like light through mist. Around it, solid rose gold curls into a fairy-tale silhouette, and a delicately contoured wedding band completes the pair for a look that belongs half in this world, half in an enchanted one.
The Engagement Ring
A natural 6.0 x 8.0 mm oval moonstone glowing at the center, flanked by accent stones in your choice of D-color VVS1 moissanite or natural conflict-free diamonds.
The Wedding Band
A delicately contoured band that follows the engagement ring’s curves, completing the whimsical, leaf-and-vine-inspired profile without a visible gap.
A stone that carries its own weather
No two moonstones glow alike. The oval-cut stone at this set’s heart is entirely natural, and its signature shimmer comes from light scattering between microscopic mineral layers inside the stone — a soft, rolling gleam that shifts as your hand moves. It is the birthstone of June and a centuries-old symbol of intuition, new beginnings, and quiet harmony; our journal dives into moonstone meaning and lore and the wider June birthstone guide.
Fairy-tale lines, drawn in leaf and vine
The design leans into enchantment: organic curves inspired by leaves and woodland tendrils frame the luminous center, giving the set its fairy character without a single hard edge. If that aesthetic speaks to you, wander through our fairy engagement rings and leaf engagement rings — or the broader gallery of nature-inspired engagement rings where this set feels most at home. Our fairy engagement ring guide explains what defines the style.
Solid rose gold in three karats
Both rings are cast in solid rose gold — 10K, 14K, or 18K, chosen from the drop-down. 10K is the most durable and most affordable; 14K, our default and most popular, balances everyday resilience with rich color; 18K carries the highest gold content and the deepest, warmest hue. Because the blush tone belongs to the alloy itself, it is permanent through and through. The karat comparison guide can help you decide, and white or yellow gold versions are available on request.
An honest word on moonstone durability
Moonstone is a romantic’s stone, and it rewards a little mindfulness. At 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale it is softer than sapphire or moissanite, so it prefers to be taken off before gym sessions, gardening, or dishwashing. Worn with that small courtesy, a moonstone ring stays beautiful for decades — our honest guide to moonstone engagement rings covers durability, care, and settings in plain language, and more designs live in our moonstone engagement rings collection.

Sizing & care
Each set is made to order in your size — half and quarter sizes included in the drop-down. Check our ring size guide before ordering, since jewelers’ tools can vary by up to half a size. Because natural moonstone sits at Mohs 6-6.5, treat it more gently than harder gems: remove the rings for housework, sports, and swimming; keep them away from harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners; and wash simply with lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Store the set in its free luxury ring box, away from harder jewelry that could rub against the stone. USA shipping is free.
Frequently asked questions
Is the moonstone natural?
Yes — the center stone is a natural moonstone, not a synthetic or an imitation. Its blue-white sheen is a genuine optical phenomenon created by light scattering inside the stone’s layered structure.
What is adularescence?
It is the floating, moonlit glow that moves across a moonstone as it tilts in the light. The effect comes from light diffracting between microscopic layers of feldspar minerals inside the gem — no treatment or coating involved.
What does this set include?
Two rings sold as a pair: the oval moonstone engagement ring with your chosen accent stones, and a delicately contoured wedding band shaped to nest against it.
How big is the moonstone?
The oval center stone measures 6.0 x 8.0 mm and weighs approximately 1.6 carats — a graceful, wearable size that lets the glow take center stage.
Is moonstone durable enough for an engagement ring?
With honest expectations, yes. Moonstone rates 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale, softer than sapphire or diamond, so it appreciates being removed for rough tasks. Many couples happily wear moonstone rings for decades by building that small habit.
How should I care for a moonstone ring?
Take it off before workouts, cleaning, gardening, and swimming. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. Wash gently with lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth, and store it separately from harder jewelry.
Which karat of rose gold should I pick?
10K is the hardest and most affordable, 14K is our most popular balance of durability and rich color, and 18K holds the highest gold content with the deepest warmth. All three are solid rose gold throughout.
Can I order this set in white or yellow gold?
Yes — white and yellow gold are available on request. Reach out and we’ll prepare a quote in your preferred color.
Moissanite or natural diamond accents — how do I choose?
Moissanite accents are D color, VVS1 clarity, with lively fire at a gentler price. The natural diamonds are G/H color, eye-clean I1, and conflict-free. Both sparkle bright white beside the moonstone’s soft glow.
Is moonstone a birthstone?
Yes — moonstone is one of June’s birthstones, alongside pearl and alexandrite, making this set especially meaningful for June birthdays and early-summer anniversaries.
How long does production take?
Each set is handmade to order; please allow 3-5 weeks. Requested modifications may change the timeline and pricing.
Can the rings be engraved?
Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. Many couples add their date or a phrase from their story.
How do I get my ring size right?
Use our online ring size guide before checkout. Sizing can vary up to half a size between different jewelers’ tools, and half and quarter sizes are available in the drop-down.
Can I request a different center stone?
Yes — other gemstone options are available in this design. Contact us for a custom quote.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

Shipping is added once your ring is finished. These are the options you will see at checkout:
- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22
- FedEx Overnight — $35
Please note: upgraded shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten the 3–6 week production time. Transit estimates begin the day your ring ships, not the day you order, and can vary with carrier delays. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
🌍 International
We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.
For many countries, duties and taxes can be prepaid at checkout for a smoother delivery — if prepaid, no additional fees are due on arrival. Customs fees are set by your country and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.
CHARACTER LIMITS
Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
