Green against white: this moss agate leaf ring sets a 6 x 8 mm oval of natural moss agate in cool white gold — or platinum — where the stone's forest-colored inclusions read like moss on frost. Botanical leaf motifs trail along the band, and brilliant moissanite accents add a line of light the all-green versions of this style never get.
An oval window into the stone
Moss agate is a translucent stone with a landscape inside, and the oval cut is one of the best ways to display it: a broad, smooth face that shows off the drifting green inclusions without the corners of an angular cut interrupting the scene. At 6 x 8 mm, the center is generous enough to read clearly across a table yet low-profile enough for everyday wear. Our comparison of the best cuts for moss agate engagement rings explains where the oval shines, and you can see the shape across other stones in our oval engagement rings collection.
Moissanite accents on a woodland band
The band carries graceful leaf and botanical motifs, and set among them are moissanite accent stones — small, extremely bright, and extremely durable. Moissanite is a real lab-grown gemstone (silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale) with more fire than diamond, so the accents scatter genuine sparkle around the calm green center; our guide on whether moissanite is a lab-grown diamond covers what the stone actually is. The effect is deliberate contrast: matte woodland stillness in the agate, points of white light along the leaves.
White gold or platinum — the cool-toned frame
White metal changes what moss agate looks like. Yellow and rose settings warm the stone toward olive; a white setting keeps the greens true and crisp, which is why this version reads the most botanical of all. Choose from the drop-down:
- 10K white gold — the most durable and most affordable option.
- 14K white gold — our default: the classic balance of everyday durability and rich gold content.
- 18K white gold — the highest gold content for an extra-luxurious feel.
- Platinum — the premium choice: naturally white, denser and heavier, and hypoallergenic.
How each metal changes the stone's look is covered in our moss agate gold rings metal comparison, and if you are torn between the top two tiers, our platinum vs gold guide settles it. Other colors are available on request.
A natural stone, a one-of-a-kind ring
The center stone is natural moss agate. Its green inclusions — miniature landscapes, moss patterns, forest scenes — formed inside the stone on their own, so no two are alike and your ring will be genuinely one of a kind. The stone is well suited to daily wear with sensible care; our honest answer to is moss agate durable covers what it handles and what it should skip. To see how this stone behaves across pendants, bands, and other settings, browse the full moss agate jewelry collection or the wider shelf of leaf rings.

Sizing & care
Select your ring size from the drop-down. If you need to double-check your measurement, our ring size guide takes a few minutes at home.
Moss agate wears well day to day but appreciates a little judgment: remove the ring for heavy manual work, workouts, and gardening, and keep it away from harsh chemicals. Clean with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush — no ultrasonic or steam cleaners — and dry with a lint-free cloth. The moissanite accents need nothing more than the same bath.
Frequently asked questions
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes. The 6 x 8 mm oval center is natural moss agate, and its green inclusions formed naturally inside the stone. Every stone carries a different pattern.
Will my stone match the product photos?
It will be close but not identical. Moss agate patterns are unrepeatable, so your ring's miniature landscape will be its own — some stones show denser green, others more open, glassy areas.
What are the accent stones?
Brilliant moissanite gemstones, set among the leaf motifs on the band. They are known for exceptional sparkle and durability.
Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes. Moissanite is a real lab-grown gemstone made of silicon carbide, rated 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is not an imitation diamond — it is a distinct stone with even more fire.
Why choose white gold for moss agate?
A white metal keeps the stone's greens true and cool rather than warming them toward olive, so the contrast between the inclusions and the setting stays crisp — the most botanical look this design comes in.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes. The gold options are solid white gold in your chosen karat — 10K, 14K, or 18K — and the platinum option is solid platinum. The metal is solid throughout.
Which metal should I choose?
10K white gold is the most durable and affordable; 14K is our most popular balance of durability and gold content; 18K has the highest gold content. Platinum is the premium option: naturally white, denser, and hypoallergenic.
Is platinum worth the upgrade?
If you have sensitive skin or want the heaviest, most substantial feel, yes — platinum is naturally white and hypoallergenic. For most wearers, 14K white gold delivers the same look at a friendlier price.
Why the oval cut?
The oval gives moss agate a broad, uninterrupted face, which is exactly what a stone with scenery inside needs. It also elongates the finger and wears comfortably low.
Is moss agate durable enough for daily wear?
Yes, with care. It is harder than glass but softer than sapphire, so it handles daily life well as long as you spare it hard knocks, heavy manual work, and harsh chemicals.
How do I clean this ring?
Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners — they are too aggressive for moss agate.
How long does production take?
Each ring is made to order, with an estimated production time of 2 to 6 weeks before shipping.
Can I get this design in another metal color?
Yes. White gold and platinum are the listed options, but other colors are available on request — contact us before ordering.
What comes with the ring?
A free luxury ring box and free shipping within the USA. All of our stones and metals are conflict-free.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
