Slide a marquise onto the hand and the hand changes. The Emerie is a marquise moissanite engagement ring built around that trick of geometry: a 5 x 10 mm GRA certified center, twice as long as it is wide, that draws the eye down the finger and makes it read longer and slimmer — all of it set in solid rose gold and wrapped in moissanite accents.
The Most Flattering Geometry in the Case
No other classic shape does what the marquise does. Its pointed ends and 2:1 proportions stretch the stone’s presence lengthwise, so a 5 x 10 mm center — roughly the face-up footprint of a 1 carat diamond — looks larger than its measurements suggest and visually elongates the finger it sits on. Our guide to why the marquise is the most elongating shape covers the effect in detail, and the marquise moissanite engagement rings collection shows how differently the same cut can be dressed.
A GRA Certified Center with More Fire Than a Diamond
Moissanite is not a stand-in — it is a gemstone in its own right. Silicon carbide, grown in a lab, rated 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with a dispersion higher than diamond’s, which is why it throws more rainbow fire under the same light. This center is graded D color and VVS1 clarity and arrives GRA certified, so the icy, colorless grade is documented rather than promised. If you’re still untangling the terminology, is moissanite a lab-grown diamond? gives the straight answer.
Blush Metal, Icy Stone
Rose gold is the romantic’s counterweight to a colorless stone: the warm blush tone deepens the contrast with the D-color center, so the moissanite looks whiter and the metal looks warmer — each flattering the other. The band and gallery are solid rose gold in your choice of 10K, 14K, or 18K, the same construction as everything in our solid gold rings collection: the color runs through the entire alloy, permanent to the core. Other gold colors are available on request.
Vintage-Inspired, Finished Like Fine Jewelry
Carefully placed moissanite accent stones follow the marquise outline, echoing the center’s taper and adding sparkle at every angle, while the high-polish finish keeps the profile bright and clean. The result leans vintage without costume — kin to the antique-flavored designs in our vintage moissanite engagement rings collection, but made to order for modern daily wear.

Sizing & Care
Measure before you order — our ring size guide shows how to check your size at home, and if you land between sizes, go up rather than down. At 9.25 Mohs, moissanite is harder than sapphire and second only to diamond, so this is a genuine everyday ring: wash it in warm water with mild soap and a soft brush, skip harsh chemicals, and remove it for heavy lifting to protect the prongs. It ships free within the USA in a free luxury ring box.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes. Moissanite is silicon carbide, a genuine lab-grown gemstone with its own chemistry and optics — not an imitation of anything. It rates 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale and actually disperses more rainbow fire than diamond.
What does GRA certified mean?
The center stone comes with a certificate from GRA, an independent gemological grading body, documenting its D color and VVS1 clarity grades — so the quality you’re paying for is verified on paper, not just described.
What do D color and VVS1 clarity mean?
D is the highest color grade — fully colorless, with no yellow or gray tint. VVS1 means very, very slightly included: any inclusions are so small they’re difficult to find even under 10x magnification, and invisible to the naked eye.
How big does a 5 x 10 mm marquise look on the hand?
Larger than the numbers suggest. A 5 x 10 mm marquise covers roughly the same face-up area as a 1 carat diamond, and because the shape spreads its size lengthwise, it reads as a longer, more dramatic stone than a round of equal footprint.
Why choose a marquise cut?
It is the most elongating of the classic cuts — the pointed, boat-shaped outline draws the eye along the finger and flatters every hand. It also carries a distinctly vintage character that rounds and ovals don’t.
Will the pointed ends snag or chip?
The tips are the most delicate part of any marquise, which is why they sit protected in the setting. Moissanite’s 9.25 Mohs hardness makes it highly resistant to scratching and chipping in normal wear; just remove the ring for rough manual work.
Is this ring solid gold?
Yes — solid rose gold in your chosen karat of 10K, 14K, or 18K. The rose color is the alloy itself, running through the entire ring, so it is permanent and will never wear away.
Which karat should I choose?
10K is the hardest and most affordable, 14K is the most popular balance of durability and color, and 18K carries the highest gold content with the richest blush tone. For a daily-wear engagement ring, most choose 14K.
Can I get this in yellow or white gold?
Yes. Rose gold in 10K, 14K, or 18K is available straight from the drop-down, and other gold colors are available on request — contact us before ordering and we’ll set it up.
Will moissanite get cloudy over time?
No. Moissanite is chemically stable and does not haze, yellow, or dull with age. Any film that builds up is everyday residue — lotion, soap, oils — and washes off with warm water and mild soap, restoring full fire.
Are the accent stones moissanite too?
Yes. The accents framing the center are also moissanite, so the sparkle stays consistent across the whole ring instead of the center outshining its frame.
How long does production take?
Each ring is made to order with an estimated production time of 2–6 weeks. Careful stone setting is the reason for the window — the marquise tips demand precise prong placement.
What’s included with my order?
Your finished ring arrives in a free luxury ring box with free shipping within the USA — proposal-ready the moment it’s delivered. All stones are conflict-free.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
