A marquise points; a chevron points with it. This marquise lab grown diamond engagement ring set in solid yellow gold pairs an IGI certified 5 x 10 mm marquise center — D color, VVS1 clarity — with a sculpted chevron wedding band that echoes the stone’s arrow-like line, two golden rings moving in the same direction.
The Engagement Ring
An elongated marquise lab-grown diamond, IGI certified at D color and VVS1 clarity, set in solid yellow gold with lab-grown diamond accents.
The Chevron Band
A V-contour wedding band that follows the marquise tip, locking the stack into one continuous golden silhouette with added sparkle.
Two Rings, One Direction
The chevron is not a generic band drafted to fit anything — its angle traces the marquise point, so when the two rings stack, the eye reads a single arrow of gold and light running up the finger. Worn together they form a complete bridal look on day one; explore how other designed-together pairs approach the problem in our wedding ring sets for women collection, or see stand-alone options among our diamond wedding bands.
The Elongating Cut
Of every diamond shape, the marquise stretches farthest for its carat — a 2:1 silhouette that spreads light down the finger and makes the hand look longer the moment it is worn. Its pointed ends give the set a regal, vintage-leaning profile you can compare across our marquise engagement rings collection.
A Certified Diamond, Twice the Sparkle
At the heart of the set sits an IGI certified lab-grown diamond graded D color and VVS1 clarity — fully colorless, essentially flawless to the eye, and every bit a real diamond. The accent stones are lab-grown diamonds as well, so both rings shimmer with the same intensity. If you are weighing the decision, our guides on whether lab-grown diamonds are worth it and whether lab-grown diamonds hold value lay out the honest economics.
Solid Yellow Gold in Your Karat
Both rings are solid yellow gold from surface to core — nothing layered, nothing to wear through — and you choose the karat from the drop-down. 10K is the toughest and most affordable, 14K is the classic balance of strength and rich color, and 18K carries the highest gold content for the deepest warmth; our karat comparison guide settles the choice in two minutes. White and rose gold are available on request, and you can browse more certified pieces in our lab-grown diamond engagement rings collection.

Sizing & Care
Measure with our ring size guide before ordering — the set arrives in one matching size, and rounding up beats rounding down. Diamond’s Mohs 10 hardness and solid gold construction make this an everyday set: wash both rings in warm soapy water with a soft brush, steer clear of harsh chemicals, and set them aside for heavy-handed work so the prongs and the chevron point keep their crisp lines. Free USA shipping and a free luxury ring box are included.
Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in this ring set?
The set includes the marquise engagement ring — IGI certified lab-grown diamond center with lab-grown diamond accents — and its matching chevron contour wedding band, both in solid yellow gold and the same size.
Why is the wedding band V-shaped?
The chevron contour mirrors the pointed tip of the marquise, letting the band nest flush against the engagement ring. A straight band would leave a visible gap at the point; the chevron closes it.
Is a lab-grown diamond as good as a mined one?
It is the same material — crystallized carbon at Mohs 10 hardness with identical brilliance. Graders use the same scales for both; this one earned D color and VVS1 clarity from IGI.
Who grades the diamond, and what did it score?
The International Gemological Institute (IGI), the leading independent lab for lab-grown diamonds, certified the center at D color — the top, fully colorless grade — and VVS1 clarity, with inclusions nearly invisible under 10x magnification.
How large does the marquise appear when worn?
The 5 x 10 mm marquise wears larger than its dimensions suggest — the elongated shape covers more finger than a round stone of similar spread and visually lengthens the hand.
Is yellow gold a good match for this diamond?
Yes — the contrast works in both directions. The warm gold makes the colorless D-grade center look brighter and icier, while the diamond makes the metal glow richer.
Are these rings solid gold or plated?
Solid gold, through and through, in your choice of 10K, 14K, or 18K yellow gold. The color is the metal itself, so it can never wear through to something else underneath.
What is the difference between 10K, 14K, and 18K?
Gold content. 10K has the least gold and the most strength, 18K the most gold and the warmest color, and 14K the balance in between — the most popular pick for daily-wear sets.
Can I get this set in a different gold color?
Yes. Yellow gold in three karats is available from the drop-down, and white or rose gold versions can be made on request — contact us before placing your order.
Can the chevron band be worn on its own?
Absolutely. The V-contour band doubles as a striking stand-alone stacking ring, and the engagement ring is complete by itself whenever you wear them separately.
Will the pointed tips of the marquise be protected?
Yes — the tips, the most delicate part of any marquise, sit shielded within the setting. Diamond itself is the hardest gemstone, so everyday wear is no concern.
How long before the set arrives?
Both rings are made to order together, with an estimated production time of 2–6 weeks, then shipped free anywhere in the USA in a free luxury ring box.
Are the diamonds in this set conflict-free?
Yes. Center and accents alike are lab-grown, which makes their origin fully traceable and the entire set conflict-free.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22

We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters

Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
