The Faye is a moss agate ring set with a vintage soul: a pear-cut natural moss agate held in a gracefully twirling band of solid white gold, paired with a delicate matching band. Each stone carries its own miniature landscape of green inclusions, so the set you order exists exactly once — a quietly romantic alternative to the classic moss agate engagement rings in our collection.
The Engagement Ring
A pear-cut natural moss agate, 6.0 x 8.0 mm and approximately 1.25 carats, set on a twirling vintage-inspired band about 2.0 mm wide and finished with your choice of moissanite or natural diamond accents.
The Matching Band
A delicate companion band shaped to follow the engagement ring’s curve, so the two pieces nest together as one seamless silhouette on the finger.
A vintage twirl around a one-of-a-kind stone
Pear-cut stones do something few other shapes can: they lengthen the finger while softening the whole look of the hand. In the Faye, the teardrop silhouette points gracefully up the finger while the band twists around it like a vine — a nod to antique rings without feeling like a costume piece. If you are weighing shapes, our pear-shaped engagement ring guide explains why this cut flatters so reliably, and our guide to the best settings for moss agate engagement rings shows how a design like this protects the stone while showing off its depth.
Choose your accent stones
The sparkle framing the moss agate is up to you. Select moissanite accents — D color, VVS1 clarity, with lively rainbow fire — or natural diamond accents in G/H color and eye-clean I1 clarity, sourced conflict-free. Moissanite gives you the most brilliance for the price; natural diamond gives you the tradition. Either way, the bright white stones make the green landscape inside the agate read even deeper.
Solid white metal, four ways
Every Faye set is cast in solid precious metal, never a coating over something lesser. Choose 10K white gold for the hardest, most affordable option, 14K white gold for the most popular balance of durability and value, 18K white gold for the richest gold content, or platinum — naturally white, densest of the four, and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat guide walks through the trade-offs in plain language, and you can see how this set fits among our other solid gold rings.
Why couples choose moss agate
Moss agate has long been read as a stone of growth, grounding, and new beginnings — fitting symbolism for a ring that marks the start of something. You can read more about what moss agate symbolizes in our journal. Because the mossy inclusions form naturally, no two stones ever match: your set is genuinely yours alone. The Faye sits within our wider world of nature-inspired engagement rings and pairs beautifully with the rest of our moss agate jewelry.

Our guide on how to clean a moss agate ring safely covers the full routine in two minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the moss agate in the Faye set natural?
Yes. Every Faye set is built around a natural pear-cut moss agate measuring 6.0 x 8.0 mm, approximately 1.25 carats. The green inclusions form on their own inside the stone, so no two rings are ever identical.
What exactly is included in this ring set?
The Faye is sold as a two-piece set: the pear-cut moss agate engagement ring and its delicate matching band. Both rings arrive together in a free luxury ring box.
Should I choose moissanite or natural diamond accents?
Both are beautiful. The moissanite accents are D color and VVS1 clarity with extra fire at a friendlier price, while the natural diamond accents are G/H color, eye-clean I1, and conflict-free. If you want maximum sparkle per dollar, choose moissanite; if you want mined diamonds, choose the diamond option.
Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes. Moissanite is a genuine lab-grown gemstone, not an imitation of anything. The moissanite used in this set is D color and VVS1 clarity with a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale, which makes it very well suited to everyday wear.
Which metal should I pick: 10K, 14K, 18K white gold, or platinum?
10K white gold is the hardest and most affordable, 14K is the most popular balance of durability and value, 18K carries the richest gold content, and platinum is naturally white, denser, and hypoallergenic. All four options are solid precious metal.
Is this set solid gold all the way through?
Yes. Each ring is cast in solid 10K, 14K, or 18K white gold, or solid platinum. There is no coating over a base metal, so the color you buy is the color the rings keep.
Is moss agate durable enough for everyday wear?
Moss agate measures 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, firm enough for daily wear with reasonable care. Take your rings off for heavy work at the gym or in the garden and they will stay beautiful for decades.
Will my ring look exactly like the photos?
Very close, with one welcome difference: the mossy inclusions in your stone are unique to you. We select stones for rich green color and clarity, but the exact pattern varies naturally from ring to ring.
Can the rings be engraved?
Yes, complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included with the set. Add your date, initials, or a short phrase when you order.
How long does it take to make the Faye set?
Each set is made to order. Please allow 3-5 weeks for your rings to be handmade before shipping. Requested modifications may extend the production timeline and pricing.
Can I wear the two rings separately?
Absolutely. The engagement ring stands beautifully on its own, and the slim matching band works as a stacker or a standalone everyday ring.
How do I find my ring size?
Use our free online sizing guide before you order. Half and quarter sizes are offered in the size picker, and keep in mind that sizing can vary up to half a size between jewelers’ tools.
Can I request a different center gemstone?
Yes. Different gemstone options are available on request. Contact us for a custom quote and we will price your preferred stone in this setting.
Is a professional appraisal available?
Yes, an optional appraisal can be selected from the drop-down menu. Please note the appraisal fee is non-refundable once the appraisal work has been performed.
✨ Production time

- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

Shipping is added once your ring is finished. These are the options you will see at checkout:
- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22

We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.
For many countries, duties and taxes can be prepaid at checkout for a smoother delivery — if prepaid, no additional fees are due on arrival. Customs fees are set by your country and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.
CHARACTER LIMITS
Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
