Part Art Deco, part armor: this elongated hexagon moissanite engagement ring set in solid yellow gold pairs a dramatic 7 x 11 mm dagger-cut center with a chevron contour band—two rings that interlock into one bold, architectural silhouette.
The Engagement Ring
A 7 x 11 mm elongated hexagon moissanite—the shape also called a kite cut or dagger cut—GRA certified at D color and VVS1 clarity, its sharp facets set high in solid yellow gold.
The Chevron Band
A contoured V-shaped band traced with moissanite accent stones, angled to nest against the hexagon's point and finish the stack with a continuous line of sparkle.
A geometry you will not see twice at the party
Rounds and ovals are everywhere; an elongated hexagon is a statement. Six crisp sides taper to a dagger point, stretching light along the finger and giving the hand an architectural, almost heraldic line. The shape shares DNA with the kite cuts in our kite cut moissanite engagement rings and sits proudly within our hexagon engagement rings—but the elongated proportions here push it further, part vintage Art Deco, part modern armor.
Why the chevron band completes it
Most wedding bands fight an angular center stone; this one was drawn for it. The chevron's V mirrors the hexagon's point, so the two rings lock together visually into a single sculpted piece, with accent moissanite carrying the sparkle down the band. Worn together they read as one design; worn apart, each stands on its own. More paired designs live in our wedding ring sets for women, and if angular lines are your language, our geometric engagement rings speak it fluently. For a broader tour of silhouettes, see our guide to engagement ring styles and setting types.
A GRA certified stone at the center
The centerpiece is a GRA certified moissanite graded D color and VVS1 clarity—independently documented color and clarity at the top of the scale. Moissanite is a real lab-created gemstone, silicon carbide, with brilliance exceeding diamond’s and more than twice the fire; it keeps that sparkle for a lifetime without clouding. If you are weighing stones, read how moissanite compares to a lab-grown diamond.
Solid yellow gold, three karats to choose
The set is made to order in solid yellow gold—10K, 14K, or 18K, selected from the drop-down. 10K is the most durable and affordable; 14K is the classic balance of durability and warmth (our default); 18K carries the highest gold content for the deepest color. The warmth is permanent—it runs all the way through the metal and will never turn your skin green—and it makes a striking foil for the crisp, icy facets of the hexagon. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat comparison guide breaks down the differences; white and rose gold are available on request.

Sizing & care
Choose your size from the drop-down—half and quarter sizes are offered—and confirm your measurement against our Find Your Size guide before ordering, since sizing varies slightly between jewelers’ tools. Both rings arrive in the size you select, ready to stack. Care is uncomplicated: warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush along the chevron’s accent stones restore the full blaze, and the moissanite itself never dulls. Store the pair together, away from harder abrasives, to keep the high-polish gold pristine.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in this set?
Two rings: the elongated hexagon moissanite engagement ring and its matching chevron contour band, designed to nest together into one continuous silhouette.
Is an elongated hexagon the same as a kite cut?
The names overlap. This shape is often described as a kite cut or dagger style—six sides, elongated proportions, and a tapering point that gives the ring its architectural edge.
What does GRA certified mean?
The center moissanite comes with independent grading documentation confirming its D color and VVS1 clarity—the top of the color and near-top of the clarity scales.
Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes—moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, a genuine gemstone with higher brilliance than diamond and more than twice the fire. It is not an imitation stone.
How big is the center stone?
The elongated hexagon measures 7 x 11 mm—a long, dramatic face-up presence that stretches light along the finger.
Do the two rings have to be worn together?
No. They interlock beautifully as a stack, but each ring is finished to stand alone—many wearers rotate the chevron band as an everyday ring.
Is the set solid gold?
Yes. Every ring in the set is solid yellow gold in your chosen karat—10K, 14K, or 18K—never gold plated or gold filled, so the color is permanent.
Which karat should I choose?
10K for the most durable and budget-friendly set, 14K for the classic balance of durability and warmth we recommend for everyday wear, or 18K for the richest color and highest gold content.
Will the pointed shape catch on things?
The point is protected by its setting, and the chevron band shields the leading edge when the rings are stacked—the geometry is bolder to the eye than to a sweater.
Is moissanite durable enough for daily wear?
Yes. Moissanite is among the hardest gemstones used in jewelry—second only to diamond—and it resists scratching and clouding through decades of wear.
Are the accent stones moissanite too?
Yes—the chevron band and accents carry moissanite stones, so the sparkle stays consistent across the whole set in any light.
How long does the set take to make?
Each set is made to order; estimated production time is 2–6 weeks before shipping, reflecting the precise stone setting the geometry requires.
Can I get it in white or rose gold?
Yes—white and rose gold versions are available on request. Contact us before ordering and we will arrange it.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure with our Find Your Size guide before ordering; both rings ship in the size you select, and half and quarter sizes are available in the drop-down.
✨ Production time

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
