An unbroken line, worn on the hand. This Celtic knot moss agate ring set centers a pear-shaped natural moss agate — a green woodland caught in stone — wrapped in flowing Celtic knotwork that has no beginning and no end. Crafted in solid 925 sterling silver with a bright rhodium finish, the engagement ring and matching trinity-knot band nest together as a symbol of eternity, unity and a bond meant to last.
A knotwork set, cast in silver
The heart of Celtic design is the endless knot — a single strand that loops back on itself with no start or finish, standing for eternity and interwoven paths. Here those knots wrap gracefully around a pear-shaped moss agate, giving the ring a vintage-inspired, deeply symbolic silhouette. It's a design for couples who want their story written into the metal, an alternative to the conventional solitaire that still feels every bit as romantic. Explore more designs made to be worn in pairs among our moss agate couples rings.
The engagement ring
Holds the pear-shaped natural moss agate in a setting framed by flowing Celtic knots — the statement piece and focal point of the set.
The matching band
A contour band centered on a Celtic trinity knot, shaped to nest seamlessly against the engagement ring. Lovely stacked or worn alone from our moss agate wedding bands.
The natural moss agate
Moss agate isn't dyed or treated to look green — the color comes from natural mineral inclusions suspended inside clear chalcedony, forming what look like delicate forest landscapes frozen in stone. Because these patterns form in the earth over millions of years, every moss agate is one of a kind. Yours will share the same lush green character as the stone in our photos, with its own subtle variation in the moss — the mark of a genuinely unique gem, not a flaw. The pear shape, with its softly pointed tip, gives that scenery an elegant, tapering frame. For a deeper look at why couples keep choosing this stone, read our guide to moss agate meaning in relationships.
A crisp diamond accent
Simulated diamonds set in precision prongs add a bright flash of white sparkle that lifts the design and makes the green of the moss agate glow even deeper. It's a budget-friendly way to bring classic engagement-ring shimmer to an earthy, nature-inspired set, and it pairs effortlessly with the pear-shaped center. Prefer a lab-grown diamond or moissanite accent instead? Message us — most of our designs can be upgraded.
Solid sterling silver with a rhodium finish
The set is crafted in solid 925 sterling silver and finished with a layer of rhodium — the same precious metal used on fine white-gold jewelry. That rhodium finish gives both rings a bright, mirror-white luster and adds a protective shield that helps resist tarnish and everyday scratches, so the fine knotwork stays crisp and freshly polished. It's the detail that lets a sterling silver set wear like something far more expensive.
What the Celtic knot and moss agate symbolize
Moss agate has long been called the "stone of new beginnings," associated with growth, abundance and steady, rooted love — while the Celtic knot, with its endless woven line, speaks to eternity and the unbroken bond between two people. Together they make this set especially meaningful for engagements, weddings and vow renewals. For the full story on the stone and how to choose one, our complete moss agate engagement ring guide is a lovely place to start.

Sizing & care
Choose your size at checkout. If you're between sizes or unsure, we're happy to help — and if the fit isn't quite right, resizing is available and starts from a modest fee. To keep the moss agate and rhodium finish at their brightest, remove the rings before showering, swimming or applying lotions, and store them in the velvet box when not worn. A soft, dry cloth restores the shine. If you're comparing budgets across shapes and settings, our moss agate price guide is a helpful primer, and our moss agate promise rings make a lovely companion piece.
Frequently asked questions
Does this come as a set?
Yes — it includes the moss agate engagement ring plus a matching trinity-knot contour band designed to nest seamlessly alongside it. The band can also be worn on its own.
What does the Celtic knot symbolize?
Celtic knots are drawn as a single, endless line with no beginning or end, symbolizing eternity, unity and interconnected paths — which makes them a deeply meaningful motif for an engagement and wedding set.
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes. Each moss agate is a genuine natural stone, and its green mossy inclusions form in the earth — never dyed or painted. That's why every stone is unique and yours will look subtly different from the next.
What cut is the center stone?
A pear shape — a rounded teardrop with a softly pointed tip that gives the mossy landscape an elegant, tapering frame and elongates the finger.
What is the accent stone?
Simulated diamonds set in precision prongs add a crisp flash of white sparkle that makes the green moss agate glow even deeper. If you'd prefer a lab-grown diamond or moissanite accent, reach out and we'll tailor it for you.
What metal is it made from?
Solid 925 sterling silver, finished with rhodium for a bright white luster and extra protection against tarnish and scratches.
What does the rhodium finish do?
Rhodium is the same precious metal used to finish fine white gold. It gives the silver a mirror-bright shine and adds a protective layer that keeps the fine knotwork crisp and freshly polished.
Will my stone look exactly like the photos?
It will share the same rich green character, but the exact moss pattern is one of a kind — a hallmark of natural moss agate. No two are ever identical, so yours is truly one of a kind.
Do the two rings sit flush together?
Yes. The matching band is contoured to nest against the engagement ring so the two sit flush as a seamless set, continuing the knotwork theme around the finger.
Can it be engraved?
Yes. You can add a personal engraving of up to 16 characters at checkout — a date, initials or a short message. Engraved pieces are final sale, so please double-check spelling.
Is moss agate durable enough for daily wear?
Moss agate sits around 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale, making it well suited to everyday wear with normal care. Avoid hard knocks, and remove the rings for rough activities to keep the stone pristine.
Are the stones ethically sourced?
Yes. All of our stones are ethically sourced and conflict-free, so you can wear your set with complete peace of mind.
Can I see other moss agate designs?
Absolutely. Explore the full moss agate engagement rings collection to find the pairing that speaks to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Find my ring size link beside the Add to Cart button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
