This oval moissanite engagement ring set features a 1.5ct lab-grown moissanite center stone (D color, VVS1 clarity, GRA certified) on a delicate leaf-detail solitaire band, paired with a sculpted V-shape ring enhancer set with lab-grown blue sapphires and moissanite accents — all in solid yellow gold, in your choice of 10K, 14K, or 18K. The enhancer wraps around the solitaire from above, transforming a clean oval engagement ring into an elaborate fairycore bridal statement. Heirloom-quality materials throughout, made to order in 3-5 weeks.
What makes this an enhancer set, not a wedding band set
Most engagement ring sets pair an engagement ring with a contoured wedding band that nests beneath it. This set is different — the second piece is a ring enhancer (also called a ring guard or ring jacket) that wraps around the solitaire from above, framing it with leaves, vines, and sapphires. The result is two distinct looks from one purchase:
- Worn together: A dramatic leaf-and-vine bridal set with sapphires growing around the oval moissanite center stone
- Solitaire alone: A clean, classic oval engagement ring on a delicate leaf-detail band — perfect for everyday wear or work environments where the elaborate enhancer would catch on things
It's one of our most versatile wedding ring sets for women — two rings, two looks, one purchase.
The oval-cut moissanite center
The center stone is a 6×8mm oval-cut lab-grown moissanite at approximately 1.5 carats — D color (the highest possible color grade, completely colorless) and VVS1 clarity (eye clean and nearly flawless under magnification). The oval cut is one of the most flattering shapes for engagement rings: its elongated silhouette creates the optical illusion of a longer, more slender finger, and it appears larger than other cuts of equivalent carat weight. Combined with the delicate leaf-detail band, the oval reads as both elegant and grounded in nature.
Why moissanite over diamond
Moissanite has higher optical brilliance than diamond — it actually sparkles more under light, with rainbow flash that diamond doesn't produce. At 9-9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, it's the second-hardest gemstone after diamond and holds up perfectly to daily wear. It's lab-grown rather than mined, making it the more sustainable and ethical choice. And at this size and quality (D color, VVS1 clarity), it costs a fraction of what an equivalent natural diamond would.
Each ring includes a GRA certificate verifying the moissanite specifications. Additional certifications and a written appraisal are available at additional cost — select from the drop-down menu when ordering.
The leaf enhancer with lab-grown sapphires
The V-shape ring enhancer is the visual hero of the set. Marquise-cut lab-grown blue sapphires are nestled into sculpted gold leaves, with round moissanite accents along the stems and points. The enhancer sits forward of the solitaire when stacked, framing the oval center stone with leaves, vines, and gemstone clusters — the effect is like flowers and foliage growing around the moissanite. Lab-grown sapphires have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural mined sapphires (same vivid blue color, same hardness, same brilliance) but at a fraction of the cost and with traceable ethical origins. If the blue draws you in, our guide to sapphire engagement rings is worth a read.
Choose your gold: 10K, 14K, or 18K solid yellow gold
Both rings are solid yellow gold throughout — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil over a base metal — with your karat selected from the drop-down menu. The color is permanent: it won't wear off and won't turn your skin green. Pick the karat that suits you:
- 10K — the most durable and most affordable option, with the highest alloy content for everyday toughness.
- 14K — our default and most popular pick: the classic balance of rich gold color, durability, and value.
- 18K — the highest gold content for the deepest, warmest yellow and the most luxurious feel.
Not sure which to choose? Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K gold guide walks through the trade-offs in plain language. White gold and rose gold are available on request.

Why couples choose this enhancer set
This is for partners who want a genuine heirloom — not just an engagement ring, but a piece built to be passed down. The combination of solid gold, lab-grown moissanite at the highest color and clarity grades, and the rare leaf enhancer structure creates a ring that's distinctive without being trendy. Popular as:
- An heirloom-quality engagement ring for partners drawn to fairycore, fantasy, or nature aesthetics — see more in our leaf engagement rings collection
- A solitaire upgrade — giving an existing engagement ring a more elaborate look without replacing it
- A meaningful birthstone gift for September birthdays (sapphire) or April birthdays (diamond/moissanite)
- A versatile bridal set for partners who want flexibility in how their ring looks day-to-day
- A sustainable choice for couples prioritizing lab-grown over mined stones
Custom options & sizing
This ring is made to order. Please allow 3-5 weeks for production. The set is also available in solid white gold or solid rose gold on request — leave a note at checkout or contact us before ordering. If you'd like a different gemstone option (natural diamond center, different sapphire color, etc.), contact us for a custom quote.
Ring sizes can vary slightly between jewelers — between ring sizers and mandrels, your size can often vary up to a half size. Please reference our sizing guide before ordering, and if you're between sizes, we recommend going up rather than down. Both rings should be ordered in the same size — the enhancer is designed to nest snugly around the solitaire.
Optional appraisal
You can add a written appraisal document from the drop-down menu when ordering — useful for insurance purposes or as part of a proposal package. Please note: the appraisal cost is non-refundable once the appraisal work has been performed.
Oval moissanite engagement ring set FAQs
What is a ring enhancer?
A ring enhancer (also called a ring guard or ring jacket) is a decorative band designed to slide over and frame an engagement ring solitaire. It transforms a simple solitaire into a more elaborate look without replacing the original ring. In this set, the leaf-and-sapphire V-shape enhancer wraps around the oval moissanite solitaire, creating a dramatic bridal silhouette when stacked.
How is moissanite different from diamond?
Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone with higher optical brilliance than diamond — it actually sparkles more under light, with rainbow flash that diamond doesn't produce. At 9-9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, it's the second-hardest gemstone after diamond and holds up perfectly to daily wear. The center stone in this set is D color (highest possible color grade) and VVS1 clarity (eye clean), comparable to the highest-grade diamonds. It costs a fraction of what an equivalent natural diamond would.
What does the oval cut mean?
The oval cut is an elongated rounded shape — one of the most popular and flattering engagement ring cuts. It creates the optical illusion of a longer, more slender finger, and it appears larger than other cuts of equivalent carat weight. Oval engagement rings have surged in popularity because they combine the brilliance of round cuts with a more distinctive silhouette.
Are the blue sapphires real?
Yes. The blue accent stones are lab-grown sapphires — they have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural mined sapphires (same color, hardness, brilliance) but are grown in controlled lab conditions, making them more sustainable, ethically traceable, and accessible than mined stones. They're real sapphires in every meaningful sense.
Which metal should I choose — 10K, 14K, or 18K?
All three are genuine solid yellow gold; the difference is gold content. 10K is the most durable and affordable, with the highest alloy content for everyday toughness. 14K is our default and most popular: the classic balance of color, durability, and value. 18K has the highest gold content for the richest, warmest yellow. If you're unsure, 14K is the safe all-rounder. White gold and rose gold are available on request.
Does this come with certification?
Yes. Each moissanite ring comes with a GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate verifying the moissanite specifications — color, clarity, cut, and carat weight. Additional certifications and a written appraisal document are available for an additional fee — select these options from the drop-down menu when ordering.
Can I wear the rings separately?
Yes — that's one of the main reasons to choose an enhancer set over a traditional wedding band set. The oval moissanite solitaire on its delicate leaf-detail band can be worn alone as a clean, classic engagement ring for everyday wear or work environments. The full leaf-stacked look with the enhancer is for events, dates, or any time you want the dramatic version.
Can I get this in white gold or rose gold instead?
Yes. The standard option is solid yellow gold in 10K, 14K, or 18K from the drop-down, but we also offer solid white gold and solid rose gold on request. Just contact us before ordering or leave a note at checkout.
Should I order both rings the same size?
Yes. The enhancer is designed to nest snugly around the solitaire, so both rings need to be the same size. If you're between sizes, order both at the same size — and we suggest going up rather than down if you're unsure. Get professionally sized at a local jeweler before ordering if you'd like extra confidence in the sizing.
How long does it take to make?
This ring is made to order. Please allow 3-5 weeks for production. Requested modifications (different metals, sizing outside the standard range, custom gemstone substitutions) may extend the timeline and adjust pricing — we'll confirm everything with you before production begins.
Can these rings be resized after purchase?
The plain oval solitaire can be resized by a local jeweler — solid gold is forgiving for resizing. The leaf enhancer is much harder to resize because of the intricate stone-set leaf work, so order the correct size from the start. We offer sizes 3-11 in standard, half, and quarter sizes. Larger or smaller sizes are available upon request.
Is there a more accessible version of this set?
Yes. We also offer this same oval engagement ring enhancer design in 14K yellow gold vermeil (over solid sterling silver) with simulated diamond and simulated sapphire stones, at a more accessible price point. Same sculpted leaf-and-vine setting, same shape, same fairycore aesthetic — just different materials. Contact us or browse our vermeil engagement ring collection for the alternative.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
