Moissanite is one of the most durable engagement-ring stones available — Mohs 9.25, second only to diamond. Handles daily wear excellently, isn't prone to chipping. All stones throughout (center + halo) are moissanite at Mohs 9.25 — no soft accent stone to scratch or cloud. Moissanite can tolerate ultrasonic cleaning, though we recommend gentle hand-cleaning with warm water and a soft brush for the solid gold construction. Solid white gold doesn't need replating and holds its tone indefinitely. A soft jewelry cloth keeps the white metal bright. Avoid harsh chemicals (chlorine, bleach, ammonia) as general best practice. Store the ring separately from other jewelry so the prongs, halo, and milgrain detail don't catch on other pieces.
