The Summer Court is one of the seven courts of Prythian in Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses series — a coastal realm centered on Adriata, a shining city rising from turquoise seas. Its palette is ocean blue, turquoise, pearl, and sun gold; its register is warmth and light on water. Summer Court jewelry translates that directly: aquamarine and teal sapphire in silver and gold. Aquamarine's name comes from the Latin aqua marina — sea water — making it the most literal court-to-gem match in our entire ACOTAR collection. Its pale saturated blue is Adriata's seas rendered in mineral, at Mohs 7.5-8 hardness. Three: solid 925 sterling silver, 14K gold vermeil, and solid 14K gold. Sterling is a real alloy — 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper right through the piece — and carries a rhodium finish that keeps the sea-blue stones reading cool. Vermeil bonds at least 2.5 microns of 10K-or-finer gold over that sterling core, which is the US FTC threshold for the term. Solid 14K gold is 58.5% pure and stamped 585.

Yes. Alongside aquamarine and teal sapphire, moonstone runs through the selection and suits the court's pearl-white register as readily as its turquoise. Moonstone is an orthoclase feldspar at Mohs 6-6.5, and its blue shimmer comes from adularescence — light scattering between microscopic internal layers. Because it is softer than the beryls, protective settings and gentle cleaning suit it best.
