Yes. Our posts and findings are nickel-free — nickel is what most people are reacting to when costume jewellery irritates their ears. Sterling silver and gold vermeil are both well tolerated by sensitive skin, and the rhodium finish on our sterling adds a further non-reactive barrier.

If you react even to precious metals, solid gold is the safest option — those are made to order.

Every piece here is either 925 sterling silver finished with rhodium, or 14K gold vermeil — real 14K gold over a solid sterling silver core, at the 2.5-micron minimum the US standard requires. Studs come with butterfly backs as standard; drop and hook styles use the fitting named in the description. Every post and back is nickel-free and matches the metal of the earring itself.

Spare backs are inexpensive and easy to replace — if you lose one, talk to our team rather than substituting a base-metal back.

Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth; dry it thoroughly before it goes away. Put it on last — after perfume, lotion and hairspray — and take it off before swimming, showering or exercising.

Return or exchange within 14 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons pierced earrings must be unworn and in their original sealed packaging — this is the one category where we cannot be flexible.
