Warm gold, sharp lines. This Skye Kite® chevron wedding band is handcrafted in solid 14K yellow gold and traces a graceful V lit with petite moissanite — a contoured band that dips to cradle an engagement ring and rises in two clean, mirrored arcs. It is solid gold all the way through, never plated, with the deep buttery warmth only real yellow gold gives: an everyday heirloom you will reach for forever.
A contour band with a modern edge
The Skye Kite® profile centers on a crisp V that sits flush against the base of a solitaire or halo, so the two rings read as one continuous line rather than two competing shapes. In warm yellow gold the effect is classic and glowing — a wedding band that feels timeless and current at once. Wear it solo as a slim sculptural stacker or pair it with an engagement ring to finish the silhouette. Browse the full range of coordinating pieces in our moissanite wedding bands and everyday moissanite rings.
Petite moissanite, maximum sparkle
Hand-set moissanite runs along the chevron, throwing a continuous line of rainbow fire against the warm gold. Moissanite is a genuine lab-grown gemstone (silicon carbide) that sits at 9.25 on the Mohs scale — a real gem in its own right, with more brilliance and fire than a diamond of the same size, and hard enough for daily wear. It is a confident, transparent choice rather than an imitation. Curious how it stacks up against a diamond? Start with how moissanite compares to a lab-grown diamond, then read the full moissanite vs lab-grown diamond breakdown.
Prefer a lab-grown diamond? Select it at checkout
The same design is available with hand-set lab-grown diamonds straight from the drop-down. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond — chemically identical to mined, Mohs 10, and ethically created — giving you the classic diamond look with full peace of mind. However you choose your stone, the kite silhouette carries beautifully; you will find more of it in our kite cut moissanite engagement rings collection.
Solid yellow gold, gold all the way through
Every band is crafted in genuine solid yellow gold — gold alloy throughout, not plated and not gold over silver — so there is no finish to wear off and any future resizing or repair uses the same precious metal. Solid gold does not tarnish; it simply asks for the occasional clean. Choose your karat from the drop-down: 10K is the hardest and most affordable, 14K is our most popular all-rounder and the ideal balance of durability and warm color, and 18K carries the richest gold content for the deepest yellow. Not sure which suits you? Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat guide compares durability, color and value, and our yellow vs white vs rose gold guide helps you settle on the tone. See the wider family in our solid gold wedding bands collection.
What a chevron band means
A V that meets at a single point has long stood for two paths joining into one — a quiet, elegant emblem of union that nests naturally against the ring that began your story. In warm gold it becomes a modern heirloom: understated enough to wear every day, distinctive enough to always feel like yours. For more on why couples keep choosing this gem, see moissanite meaning and symbolism.

Sizing & care
Select your size at checkout; half and quarter sizes are available, and if you are between sizes we are happy to help. Because this is solid gold, resizing is straightforward and starts from a modest fee on eligible, non-engraved rings. Solid yellow gold does not tarnish — a wash in warm water with mild soap and a soft cloth restores its glow. Remove it for heavy lifting or abrasive work and store it in the velvet box between wears.
Frequently asked questions
Is this ring solid gold or plated?
It is genuine solid yellow gold — gold alloy all the way through, never plated and never gold over silver. That is why it can be resized and repaired with the same metal and worn as a lifetime heirloom.
What are the accent stones?
Petite moissanite, hand-set along the chevron. Moissanite is a genuine lab-grown gemstone at 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with more fire and brilliance than a diamond of the same size — superb for daily wear.
Can I get it with real diamonds instead?
Yes. Choose the lab-grown diamond option from the drop-down. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, chemically identical to mined, Mohs 10, and ethically created.
Which karats can I choose?
Solid yellow gold in 10K, 14K or 18K. 10K is the hardest and most affordable, 14K is the most popular all-rounder, and 18K has the richest, deepest gold color.
Does solid yellow gold tarnish?
No. Solid gold does not tarnish, rust or corrode. It can pick up oils and lotions that dull the shine over time, but warm water and mild soap restore it completely.
Will it sit flush against my engagement ring?
Yes — the chevron dips at the point so it nests around a solitaire or halo rather than gapping. It is designed to complete an existing engagement ring or to stack on its own.
Can it be worn on its own?
Absolutely. Many customers wear it solo as a slim, sculptural stacking or midi band. It looks intentional either paired or alone.
Can it be engraved?
Yes. Complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included — a date, initials or a short message. Engraved rings are final sale, so please double-check spelling.
How long does it take to make?
Each ring is handmade to order. Please allow about 3 to 5 weeks; custom modifications may adjust the timeline and pricing.
Is the moissanite durable enough for everyday?
Very. At Mohs 9.25 it resists scratching better than most gems, and set into solid gold it is built for daily wear. Normal care keeps it sparkling for a lifetime.
Are the stones ethically sourced?
Yes. Our moissanite and lab-grown diamonds are created in a lab and are conflict-free, so you can wear the ring with complete peace of mind.
How do I care for it?
Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, remove it for heavy or abrasive tasks, and store it in the velvet box. A quick polish brings back the warm gold glow.
Does it arrive gift-ready?
Every order ships in a free luxury velvet gift box and is backed by our lifetime warranty — ready for a proposal, a wedding day or an anniversary.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.
🚚 United States
Shipping is added once your ring is finished. These are the options you will see at checkout:
- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22
- FedEx Overnight — $35
Please note: upgraded shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten the 3–6 week production time. Transit estimates begin the day your ring ships, not the day you order, and can vary with carrier delays. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
🌍 International
We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.
For many countries, duties and taxes can be prepaid at checkout for a smoother delivery — if prepaid, no additional fees are due on arrival. Customs fees are set by your country and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.
CHARACTER LIMITS
Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:
♥ ♡ ☾ ✩ ★ ✿ ♬ ♯ • ■
Custom fonts, or symbols outside this selection, are available for $25. For a logo or bespoke design, email us an SVG file before you order so our team can confirm it will engrave cleanly. Very fine or highly detailed artwork may not suit narrow or delicate bands — we will tell you before we proceed rather than after.
HOW TO ORDER
• Choose your ring, metal and size
• Enter your text in the engraving field
• For a custom font or symbol, contact us before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
