Some rings add; this one subtracts. A 1.3-carat oval of natural green moss agate on a slender 1.7 mm leaf-detailed band, in white gold or platinum, with nothing else competing for attention — no halo, no accent stones. A moss agate leaf ring at its most distilled, where the stone's sealed-in forest does all the talking.
The stone is the design
Most engagement rings use their setting to amplify the center stone. This one steps out of its way. The oval moss agate — roughly 1.3 carats, cut to a clean 6 x 8 mm — sits above a delicate band whose leaf-inspired detailing whispers rather than announces. If your taste runs to quiet pieces that reward a second look, this belongs with our minimalist engagement rings in spirit, and with our leaf engagement rings in silhouette.
What you get in exchange for the restraint is legibility: with no accents flashing beside it, the stone's green inclusions — drifting like moss, branches, and weather inside clear agate — are the first and only thing anyone sees.
A slender band, made personal
The band averages just 1.7 mm wide, which keeps the ring featherlight on the finger and lets the oval read larger by contrast. It also stacks beautifully with a wedding band later. Complimentary engraving is included — up to 16 characters — so a date, a name, or a private word can live inside the band; see our engraving page for details.
White gold or platinum
A moss agate white gold ring keeps the stone's palette honest: cool metal, true greens, no warm cast. Select your metal from the drop-down — every option is naturally white so the stone stays the star:
- 10K white gold — the hardest and most affordable of the gold options.
- 14K white gold — our most popular all-rounder, balancing strength, value, and a rich white sheen.
- 18K white gold — the richest gold content for a luxurious weight.
- Platinum — naturally white, the densest and most substantial choice, and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.

One of one, every time
The center stone is natural moss agate, and its inclusions formed inside the stone over geological time — no two are alike, so your ring is one of a kind by definition. The stone has long symbolized growth, renewal, and rootedness, which is part of why it keeps being chosen for new beginnings; our moss agate engagement ring guide walks through everything worth knowing before you commit, and the full range of designs is in our moss agate engagement rings collection. Sizing & care
Choose your size from the drop-down. Sizing can vary slightly between jewelers' tools, so if you are unsure, check our ring size guide before ordering.
At 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale, moss agate is durable enough for daily wear but softer than sapphire or diamond, so treat it kindly: off for workouts, gardening, and cleaning products, and no ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush are all it needs — our guide to cleaning a moss agate ring safely shows the routine step by step, and we answer the shower question honestly too.
Frequently asked questions
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes. The center stone is natural moss agate, approximately 1.3 carats in a 6 x 8 mm oval. Its green, moss-like inclusions formed naturally, so every stone is unique.
Will my ring look exactly like the photos?
Close, but never identical — and that is the appeal. Each moss agate carries its own pattern of inclusions, so the ring you receive is one of a kind.
Does this ring have accent stones?
No, by design. The setting is kept deliberately clean so the moss agate itself carries the whole ring — no halo, no side stones, just the stone and a slender leaf-detailed band.
How wide is the band?
The band averages 1.7 mm, which wears light and comfortable, makes the oval center look larger, and pairs neatly with a wedding band later.
Which metal should I choose?
All options are naturally white. 10K white gold is the hardest and most affordable; 14K is our most popular all-rounder; 18K carries the richest gold content. Platinum is the densest, most substantial choice and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes. The gold options are white gold through and through in your chosen karat, and the platinum option is solid platinum.
How durable is moss agate?
Moss agate rates 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale — fine for everyday wear with a little care. Take the ring off for hard manual work and keep it away from strong chemicals and sharp impacts.
Can I shower with the ring on?
Occasionally it will survive, but we recommend taking it off. Soaps film over the stone and dull its clarity, and repeated temperature swings do natural stones no favors.
How should I clean it?
Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush, then a full dry with a lint-free cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners on moss agate.
Is engraving really free?
Yes. Complimentary engraving is included with the ring — up to 16 characters, enough for a date, initials, or a short word that matters.
How long does production take?
This ring is made to order; please allow 3 to 5 weeks for it to be handmade for you. Requested modifications may extend the timeline and adjust pricing.
Can I choose a different center gemstone?
Yes. Different gemstone options are available — contact us for a custom quote before ordering.
Is a professional appraisal available?
Yes. Select the optional appraisal from the drop-down menu. The appraisal cost is non-refundable once the work has been performed.
What is included with my order?
A free luxury ring box, complimentary engraving if you want it, and free shipping within the USA. All stones and metals are conflict-free.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.
🚚 United States
Shipping is added once your ring is finished. These are the options you will see at checkout:
- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22
- FedEx Overnight — $35
Please note: upgraded shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten the 3–6 week production time. Transit estimates begin the day your ring ships, not the day you order, and can vary with carrier delays. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
🌍 International
We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.
For many countries, duties and taxes can be prepaid at checkout for a smoother delivery — if prepaid, no additional fees are due on arrival. Customs fees are set by your country and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.
CHARACTER LIMITS
Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:
♥ ♡ ☾ ✩ ★ ✿ ♬ ♯ • ■
Custom fonts, or symbols outside this selection, are available for $25. For a logo or bespoke design, email us an SVG file before you order so our team can confirm it will engrave cleanly. Very fine or highly detailed artwork may not suit narrow or delicate bands — we will tell you before we proceed rather than after.

• Choose your ring, metal and size
• Enter your text in the engraving field
• For a custom font or symbol, contact us before ordering
• Check your wording carefully before checkout — we engrave exactly what is entered

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
