This kite cut moss agate ring centers a natural green moss agate — a one-of-a-kind stone laced with tree-like dendritic inclusions — cut into a graceful kite shape and set in warm solid rose gold. Moss agate is long associated with new beginnings, grounding, and emotional balance, making it a soulful, fairytale-inspired alternative to a traditional diamond. Made to order and ready to engrave.
The moss agate
Moss agate is a natural gemstone — a translucent chalcedony filled with green, moss-like patterns formed by mineral inclusions. Because those inclusions form naturally, no two stones are alike: yours will have its own one-of-a-kind landscape of greens, and the pattern you receive may differ slightly from the photos. It's a genuine earth-formed stone (not lab-created), prized for its organic beauty and its symbolism of new beginnings, growth, and grounding calm. Explore more moss agate jewelry and rose gold rings in the collection.
The kite cut
The kite cut is a geometric, elongated four-sided shape — angular and modern, yet soft enough to feel romantic. It shows off the moss agate's inner scenery beautifully, giving the stone a distinctive, contemporary silhouette that sits somewhere between minimalist and whimsical. Set east-to-west or point-up, the kite gives this ring its fairycore, fantasy-inspired character.
Choose your metal & karat
This ring is solid metal throughout — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil over a base metal. Warm rose gold brings a soft, romantic blush that flatters the greens of the moss agate. Pick the karat that fits your budget and durability preference. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat comparison guide breaks down the differences. If you'd like to learn more about the stone itself, our guide to what moss agate symbolizes is a lovely place to start.
10K Rose Gold
Hardest and most affordable, with excellent everyday durability.
14K Rose Gold
Our most popular — the ideal balance of durability and value.
18K Rose Gold
Higher gold content for a richer, warmer blush.
Prefer a different tone? This design is also available in white or yellow gold on request. Whichever metal you choose, the color is permanent — it won't wear off and won't turn your skin green.

Sizing & care
Moss agate is softer than a diamond (Mohs 6.5–7), so treat it as a beautiful everyday piece rather than an indestructible one: avoid hard knocks, remove it for heavy chores, gym, or gardening, and keep it away from harsh chemicals. Clean gently with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth — skip ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Please confirm your ring size before ordering; half and quarter sizes are available, and you can reference our sizing guide first. An optional written appraisal can be added from the drop-down menu (non-refundable once completed). Browse more solid gold rings for matching styles.
Kite cut moss agate ring FAQs
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes — it's a natural, earth-formed gemstone, not lab-created. The green moss-like patterns are natural mineral inclusions, which is why every stone is unique.
Will my ring look exactly like the photos?
Each moss agate is one-of-a-kind, so the exact pattern, density, and shade of green will vary from stone to stone. Yours will be similar in spirit to the photos but uniquely its own — that's part of the charm.
What does moss agate symbolize?
Moss agate is traditionally associated with new beginnings, growth, abundance, and grounding, emotional balance. It's a popular choice for those who want a meaningful, nature-connected alternative to a diamond.
How durable is it for daily wear?
Moss agate is 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale — durable enough for everyday wear with a little care, but softer than a diamond or sapphire. Avoid hard impacts and abrasive surfaces, and take it off for rough activities to keep it looking its best.
What is a kite cut?
A kite cut is a geometric, elongated four-sided shape that looks like a kite. It's a modern, distinctive cut that beautifully frames the moss agate's inner scenery.
Which metal should I choose?
10K rose gold is the hardest and most affordable; 14K is our most popular for its balance of durability and value; 18K has more gold for a richer, warmer blush. All are genuine solid rose gold.
Is this real solid rose gold?
Yes. The ring is solid rose gold throughout — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil. The color is permanent, won't wear off, and won't turn skin green.
How should I clean it?
Gently. Use warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or brush. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steam, and harsh chemicals, which can damage a softer stone like moss agate.
Can I get a matching wedding band?
Yes — a matching band can be custom made to order. Contact us and we'll help you pair it with this ring.
Do you offer other stones or shapes?
Yes. Different gemstone options and cuts are available on request — reach out for a custom quote.
How do I find my ring size?
See our sizing guide. Sizing can vary slightly by jeweler, often up to a half size, so we recommend confirming before ordering. Half and quarter sizes are available.
How long does it take to make?
This ring is made to order; please allow 3–5 weeks for it to be handcrafted. Requested modifications may adjust the timeline and pricing.
✨ Production time

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
