A kite moss agate ring and matched band, sold as a two-piece set in solid rose gold. The center stone is a natural green moss agate cut to a 7.0 x 11.0 mm kite — approximately 1.6 carats — with accents in your choice of moissanite or natural diamond. The band runs a fine 1.6 mm, the slimmest profile in our solid gold moss agate range.
What you receive
The Engagement Ring
Kite-cut natural moss agate, 7.0 x 11.0 mm, approximately 1.6 ct, with accent stones in your chosen material.
1.6 mm rose gold band.
The Wedding Band
A matched rose gold band on the same fine 1.6 mm profile, so the pair reads as one line on the finger.
Complete as a ring on its own.
A deliberately fine band
At 1.6 mm this is the narrowest band in our solid gold moss agate range, and the effect is straightforward: the less metal there is, the larger the stone reads. On a 7 x 11 mm center that already carries real length, a fine shank pushes almost all the visual weight into the gemstone.
Stacked, the two rings still occupy less width on the finger than a single conventional band would. That suits anyone who wants a substantial stone without a substantial ring. Browse other matched pairs in our wedding ring sets for women.
Why the kite cut suits this stone
A kite is an elongated hexagon with a point at each end and angled shoulders — the same geometry sometimes sold as a coffin cut. Critically it is a step cut, meaning long flat facets rather than the triangular facets of a brilliant, and that gives it a broad open table.
On a transparent gem the goal of a cut is usually to return light. On moss agate the goal is to show what is inside, and a wide flat table does that better than any faceted alternative. Compare the shapes in our guide to the best cuts for moss agate, or see the shape across other gems in our kite cut engagement rings.
Moissanite or natural diamond
Both accent choices are genuine gemstones. Moissanite is D color, VVS1, and 9 on the Mohs scale; its refractive index is higher than diamond's, so it returns noticeably more colorful fire. Natural diamond is G/H color, I1 clarity and eye-clean, conflict-free, and 10 on the Mohs scale, giving the traditional white brilliance.
Neither is a simulant such as cubic zirconia. Full comparison in is moissanite a lab-grown diamond.
Rose gold, and why no two are alike
Rose gold is the warmest of the golds and sets up a deliberate contrast against green — each makes the other read more saturated. All three karats are solid rose gold, never plated or gold-filled, so the color is permanent. The 10K vs 14K vs 18K guide covers what the karat choice changes.
Moss agate's green is not body color — it is mineral inclusions that grew inside translucent chalcedony, and they formed differently in every stone. Yours will share the green character of the moss agate in our photographs while carrying a pattern that belongs only to it. Background in moss agate meaning and our moss agate engagement ring guide.

Care
Moss agate is 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale — suitable for daily wear but softer than the accent stones beside it, and the kite's points are the most vulnerable part of the stone. Take the ring off for gardening, gym work and household cleaning.
Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners entirely — agate is porous and sensitive to heat and vibration. See cleaning a moss agate ring safely and is moss agate durable.

Frequently asked questions
How many rings come in the set?
Two — the kite moss agate engagement ring and a matched rose gold wedding band, sold together at one price.
How wide are the bands?
Approximately 1.6 mm each — the finest profile in our solid gold moss agate range, which makes the center stone read larger.
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes. Natural moss agate, mined and cut — not lab-created and not simulated.
How big is the center stone?
7.0 x 11.0 mm, approximately 1.6 carats, in a kite cut.
Is a fine band strong enough for daily wear?
Yes. Solid gold at this width is well proven for everyday engagement rings. If you want extra reassurance, 10K is the hardest of the three karats.
Should I choose moissanite or natural diamond?
Moissanite (D, VVS1, Mohs 9) throws more colorful fire. Natural diamond (G/H, I1 eye clean, Mohs 10) gives traditional white brilliance. Both are real gemstones.
Are the natural diamonds conflict-free?
Yes. All natural diamonds we set are conflict-free and ethically sourced.
Is a kite cut the same as a coffin cut?
Yes — the same elongated hexagon with pointed ends. The two names belong to different aesthetic contexts, not different shapes.
Will my stone match the photographs?
It will share the same green character and translucency, but the inclusion pattern will be unique to your stone.
Is this solid gold or plated?
Solid rose gold throughout in your chosen karat — never plated or gold-filled, so the color is permanent.
Is it available in yellow or white gold?
Yes — rose, yellow and white gold are all available for this design.
How long does production take?
This set is made to order. Please allow 3–5 weeks. Requested modifications may extend that timeline.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.
🚚 United States
Shipping is added once your ring is finished. These are the options you will see at checkout:
- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22
- FedEx Overnight — $35
Please note: upgraded shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten the 3–6 week production time. Transit estimates begin the day your ring ships, not the day you order, and can vary with carrier delays. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
🌍 International
We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.
For many countries, duties and taxes can be prepaid at checkout for a smoother delivery — if prepaid, no additional fees are due on arrival. Customs fees are set by your country and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
