A leaf never unfurls the same way twice — and neither does moss agate. This moss agate leaf ring in solid 14K rose gold holds an oval natural stone whose drifting green inclusions look like a forest floor caught in miniature, framed by sculpted leaves set with lab-grown emeralds and finished with moissanite light. Warm rose gold against cool botanical green: a quiet, romantic contrast made to be worn every day.
A one-of-a-kind stone, chosen for you
The center stone is a natural green moss agate, oval cut and measuring 6.0 x 8.0 mm — roughly 1.4 carats of translucent quartz threaded with mossy, branch-like inclusions. Because those inclusions are formed by nature rather than grown in a pattern, no two stones are alike; the ring you receive carries a landscape that exists nowhere else. That individuality is a large part of what moss agate has come to mean for couples: growth, grounding, and a love that keeps its own shape.
Emerald leaves and moissanite light
Along the band, sculpted leaf details are set with lab-grown emeralds — real emeralds with the same composition and saturated green as mined stones, grown in a controlled setting for a cleaner, more ethical supply. Small moissanite accents add flashes of white fire between them. Moissanite is a genuine lab-grown gemstone in its own right (silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale), prized for throwing even more spectral fire than diamond — here it plays the role of dew on the leaves rather than the headline.
Solid rose gold, all the way through
Choose 14K or 18K solid rose gold from the drop-down. 14K is the classic pick — durable, warm, and suited to daily wear — while 18K carries a higher gold content for a richer, rosier blush. Both are solid gold through and through, so the color is permanent. The ring is also available in 14K white or yellow gold on request. If you are weighing karats, our gold karat comparison guide lays out the differences in a few minutes of reading.
A note on the matching leaf guard
The leaf ring guard shown in some photos is sold separately — this listing is for the engagement ring only. On its own, the ring reads as a refined botanical solitaire with side detail; paired later with the guard, it becomes a fuller bouquet. Many customers start with the engagement ring and add the guard for a wedding or anniversary. For more ways to build the look, browse our leaf engagement rings and the wider world of nature-inspired engagement rings.
Why a leaf setting suits moss agate
Moss agate is at its best when the setting continues the story the stone starts. The leaf motif picks up the green of the inclusions and the emeralds, so metal and mineral feel like one growing thing rather than a stone dropped into a mount. Our guide to the best settings for moss agate engagement rings explains why botanical and low-profile designs flatter this stone — and this ring sits alongside the rest of our moss agate engagement rings and solid gold rings if you want to compare silhouettes.

Sizing & care
Select your ring size from the drop-down; half and quarter sizes are available, and our find-your-size guide will help you measure at home before ordering. To care for the ring, remove it before heavy work, workouts, and harsh cleaning chemicals, then wash it gently with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth. Moss agate and emerald both prefer gentle handling over ultrasonic cleaners — our guide on how to clean a moss agate ring safely covers the full routine.
Frequently asked questions
Is the moss agate in this ring natural?
Yes. The center stone is a natural green moss agate, and its inclusions form organically — every stone we set is genuinely one of a kind, so your ring will not look exactly like the photos or like anyone else’s.
Are the emerald accents real emeralds?
Yes. The leaves are set with lab-grown emeralds, which are real emeralds — chemically and optically identical to mined stones — created in a controlled environment for better clarity and ethical sourcing.
What are the sparkling white accents?
They are moissanite — a genuine lab-grown gemstone made of silicon carbide. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale it is one of the hardest gems used in jewelry, and it displays even more fire than diamond.
Is the leaf ring guard included?
No. The leaf ring guard is sold separately — this listing is for the engagement ring only. Many customers add the guard later as a wedding or anniversary band.
Is this ring solid gold?
Yes. It is crafted in solid 14K or 18K rose gold all the way through, so the warm rose color is permanent and can be polished, resized, and worn for generations.
Should I choose 14K or 18K rose gold?
14K is the everyday classic — slightly harder-wearing and more affordable. 18K contains more pure gold, giving a richer, rosier tone. Both are solid gold; it comes down to color preference and budget.
Can I order it in white or yellow gold instead?
Yes. The ring is also available in 14K white gold or 14K yellow gold on request — contact us before ordering and we will set it up for you.
Is moss agate durable enough for an engagement ring?
Moss agate is a quartz-family stone that handles daily wear well with sensible habits: take the ring off for heavy or abrasive work and keep it away from harsh chemicals. Treated kindly, it lasts for decades.
How do I clean this ring at home?
Use lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft cloth or very soft brush, then pat dry. Skip ultrasonic and steam cleaners — gentle hand-washing is all this ring needs.
How long does production take?
Each ring is made to order; please allow 2–3 weeks for production before shipping. USA shipping is free, and modifications may add a little time.
Can I have the ring engraved?
Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. Add your date, initials, or a short phrase in the order notes.
Can I request a different center stone?
Yes. Other gemstones are available for this setting — contact us for a custom quote and we will walk you through the options.
Is a professional appraisal available?
Yes, an optional appraisal can be selected from the drop-down menu. Please note that appraisals are non-refundable once completed.

Known as the Gardener's Stone
Moss agate is translucent chalcedony threaded with green and brown mineral dendrites that read like miniature landscapes; no two stones match. Traded through the port of Mocha in Yemen, it became the gardener's stone of Victorian jewelry. At 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale a moss agate engagement ring is made for everyday wear, with warm soapy water and a soft brush to clean it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Find my ring size link beside the Add to Cart button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
