Storm-cloud shimmer over warm gold. This gray moissanite crown band lines a curved crown silhouette with smoky, cool-gray baguette moissanites framed by brilliant clear rounds — a moody, modern take on a classic enhancer. Handcrafted in solid yellow gold (real gold throughout, in 10K, 14K or 18K), it slips against an engagement ring as a regal frame or stands beautifully on its own.
A regal, contemporary crown
The crown-inspired shape mixes baguette and round stones into a gently arched contour that flatters the finger from every angle. Set against an engagement ring, it frames the center stone like a jeweled coronet; worn alone, it reads as a confident, alternative stacking band with real personality. At around 1.7mm it stays slim and low-profile, so the drama lives in the stones rather than the bulk. It layers effortlessly with our other moissanite wedding bands and sits right at home in the wider solid gold wedding bands collection.
Cool-gray and clear moissanite
Moissanite is a genuine lab-grown gemstone (silicon carbide), rating 9 to 9.25 on the Mohs scale and famous for throwing even more fire than a diamond — qualities that make it excellent for everyday wear. The medium cool-gray baguettes here bring a smoky, celestial elegance, while near-colorless (D–F) round brilliants add sharp white contrast and sparkle. If you want the difference spelled out, our guide on whether moissanite is a lab-grown diamond is a great primer, and our moissanite versus cubic zirconia comparison explains why moissanite is in a different league of durability and brilliance.
Solid yellow gold
This crown band is made in real solid yellow gold, chosen from the drop-down. Pick 10K for the most durable and most affordable option, 14K for our best-selling balance of strength and warmth, or 18K for the highest gold content and deepest color. Because it is solid gold rather than a plated layer, the warm tone runs all the way through, and the ring can be resized and repaired for a lifetime. See how the karats differ in our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat comparison guide. White and rose gold are available on request.
Styling the gray-and-gold palette
Gray moissanite has a quiet cult following among brides who want something a little unexpected — the smoky stones read celestial and modern against warm gold, and they pair especially well with salt-and-pepper or gray-toned center stones. Stack it, mirror it with a second band, or let it soften a bold solitaire. Explore more of the look in our gray moissanite engagement rings and the full range of moissanite rings.

Sizing & care
Choose your size at checkout; sizes 3–10 are standard, with half, quarter and extended sizes available on request. If you are between sizes, message us and we will help — and if the fit is not quite right, resizing is available and starts from a modest fee. To keep the gray moissanite sparkling, remove the band before lotions or fragrance, wipe it with a soft cloth, and store it in the velvet box between wears. Its low-profile solid gold build is made for easy, everyday wear.
Frequently asked questions
Are the gray stones real moissanites?
Yes. The gray baguettes and the clear rounds are all genuine lab-grown moissanite — a real gemstone (silicon carbide) rated 9 to 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with more fire than a diamond.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes. The band is crafted in genuine solid yellow gold in your chosen karat — 10K, 14K or 18K — gold all the way through, never plated or filled.
Which karat should I choose?
All three are solid gold in the same warm yellow. Choose 10K for the most durable and budget-friendly option, 14K for the classic everyday balance and our most popular default, or 18K for the highest gold content and richest color.
What does the gray color look like?
A soft, smoky medium gray with a cool, celestial tone — distinctive without being dark. It contrasts beautifully with the clear round moissanites and reads modern against warm gold.
Can I use it as a ring enhancer?
Yes. The curved crown shape is made to frame a solitaire, sitting flush against it so the center stone looks elevated. It also stands on its own as a stacking band.
How is moissanite different from cubic zirconia?
Moissanite is far harder and more brilliant than cubic zirconia, and it keeps its sparkle over years of wear. Our moissanite versus cubic zirconia guide covers the differences in detail.
Is it comfortable for daily wear?
Very. At roughly 1.7mm the band sits low and slim against the finger, and moissanite’s high hardness makes it well suited to everyday wear.
Can I get it in white or rose gold?
Yes. Yellow gold is shown here, and white or rose gold are available on request — just reach out before ordering and we will arrange it.
What sizes are available?
Sizes 3 to 10 are standard, with half, quarter and extended sizes available on request. If you are unsure, contact us for guidance.
Is resizing available?
Yes. Because it is solid gold, this band can be resized and repaired. Resizing starts from a modest fee — contact us and we will help.
How do I care for it?
Remove it before applying lotions or fragrance, wipe it with a soft cloth, and store it in the velvet box between wears. A quick clean keeps both the moissanite and the gold looking freshly polished.
Are the stones ethically sourced?
Yes. Moissanite is lab-grown, making it an inherently conflict-free, ethical choice you can feel good about wearing.

✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22

We ship worldwide with DHL. Live rates for your address are calculated at checkout — usually DHL Express Worldwide, with DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard also offered to some destinations as a slower, lower-cost option.

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters

Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
