The Esme in moissanite is the version that plays with light. Its 5 × 7 mm oval center — a GRA certified moissanite graded D color and VVS1 clarity — is flanked by two trillion cut moissanite side stones, and because moissanite disperses light more strongly than diamond, all three stones flash rainbow fire at once. Set in solid 14K white gold with organic, vintage-inspired curves, it delivers the full Esme presence while leaving serious room in the budget.
Three Stones of Pure Fire
Moissanite is a genuine gemstone — silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, harder than sapphire — famous for one thing above all: fire. Its dispersion is more than double a diamond’s, so light leaves the stone split into visible color. On the Esme that effect is tripled: the oval center delivers concentrated brilliance while the trillion cut sides, with their broad triangular facets, flash wide sheets of spectral light. The crown-like arrangement reflects light beautifully from every angle, which is exactly the point of the design.
Vintage Curves, Modern Value
The band’s flowing organic curves recall vintage botanical jewelry — romantic, nature-inspired detailing with a timeless bridal feel that places the Esme squarely among our vintage moissanite engagement rings. And the value case is honest math: a D color, VVS1 moissanite of this size costs a fraction of the equivalent diamond, without sacrificing hardness, clarity, or sparkle. Our comparison of moissanite vs lab-grown diamond walks through the trade-offs candidly; for many couples, moissanite wins the argument on fire alone. The three-stone silhouette also echoes our classic three-stone engagement rings.
Certified Quality, Not a Compromise
The center stone is GRA certified and graded D color — fully colorless — with VVS1 clarity. That certification matters because not all colorless stones are equal: unlike cubic zirconia, which dulls and scratches within years, moissanite keeps its fire permanently, a distinction our guide to moissanite vs cubic zirconia makes plain. Browse more certified pieces across our moissanite jewelry collection and the wider range of oval moissanite engagement rings.
Solid Gold or Platinum, Made to Order
Choose solid 10K, 14K, or 18K white gold, or solid platinum, from the drop-down. 10K is the most durable and most affordable; 14K is the everyday classic and our default; 18K carries the highest gold content for the most luxurious feel; platinum is naturally white, denser, and hypoallergenic, with color that is permanent through and through. Every option is genuine solid metal and will never turn your skin green — the same standard as everything in our solid gold collection. The design is shown in white gold; other colors are available on request.

Sizing & Care
Every Esme is made to order in your exact size — the find-your-size guide shows you how to measure at home. Moissanite asks almost nothing of you: at 9.25 Mohs it resists scratches through daily wear, and a quick clean brings the fire roaring back — see how to clean jewelry at home for the two-minute routine. Remove the ring for heavy manual work to keep the trillion points pristine. Ships free in the USA with a free luxury ring box, and every stone is conflict-free.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Esme design?
The Esme is our vintage-inspired three-stone silhouette: an oval center stone flanked by trillion cut sides on a band of flowing antique curves. This version sets it entirely with moissanite for maximum fire.
Is moissanite a real stone?
Yes - moissanite is silicon carbide, a genuine gemstone with its own chemistry and optics, originally discovered in a meteor crater. It is not a fake anything; it is its own remarkable mineral.
How does its sparkle compare to diamond?
Moissanite has higher dispersion than diamond, so it throws noticeably more rainbow fire - colored flashes rather than white glints. In sunlight the difference is striking, and many people prefer it.
Why choose moissanite over a diamond for the Esme?
Price and fire. You get a D color, VVS1, certified center stone plus two trillion sides for a fraction of the diamond cost - freeing budget for a higher karat, platinum, or the wedding itself.
What do the trillion side stones add?
Trillions are triangular brilliants whose broad facets flash wide planes of light. They frame the oval, widen the ring’s presence on the finger, and complete the crown-like structure that defines the Esme.
What does GRA certified mean?
The center moissanite has been independently graded and documented - D color, the top of the colorless scale, and VVS1 clarity, meaning inclusions are nearly impossible to find under magnification.
Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear?
Yes. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale it is harder than sapphire and second only to diamond among gems used in rings. It will not scratch, cloud, or lose its fire with everyday life.
Is moissanite the same as cubic zirconia?
Not at all. CZ is a soft, inexpensive simulant that dulls within a few years; moissanite is a hard, permanent gemstone with superior fire. They only share the word "colorless."
Which metal should I go with?
10K white gold for the most durable and affordable ring, 14K for the classic all-around choice, 18K for the highest gold content, or platinum for a naturally white, hypoallergenic metal whose color is permanent.
Is the metal really solid?
Yes - solid white gold in your chosen karat, or solid platinum, through and through. The color cannot wear away, and the ring will never turn your skin green.
Can I have it made in a different gold color?
Yes. The Esme is shown in white gold, but other gold colors are available on request - message us before ordering and we will arrange it.
When will my ring arrive?
Each ring is made to order with an estimated production time of 2–6 weeks, then ships free within the USA in a luxury ring box.
What if I do not know my ring size?
Use the find-your-size guide linked in the sizing section to measure at home in minutes. If you fall between two sizes, choosing the larger one is usually more comfortable.
✨ Production time

- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
