Midnight in the garden. This black moissanite leaf band winds sculpted leaves and vines around the finger, studded with deep black moissanites for a dramatic, nature-inspired twist. Handcrafted in solid yellow gold — real gold all the way through, in 10K, 14K or 18K — it is an heirloom-grade band that wears as a wedding ring, a promise ring, a bold stacker, or a meaningful everyday piece.
A leaf-and-vine band with a dark heart
Delicately sculpted leaves curl and overlap along the band, catching the light on their milgrain-textured edges while a run of black moissanites threads through like berries after dusk. It is romantic and a little gothic at once — the kind of botanical design that feels grown rather than manufactured. At roughly 2.5mm it has enough presence to stand alone, yet stays low and comfortable for daily wear and layers happily with plainer bands. If this organic aesthetic speaks to you, explore more of it across our leaf engagement rings and the wider world of nature-inspired engagement rings.
Deep black moissanite
Each dark stone is a genuine lab-grown black moissanite — a real gemstone (silicon carbide) rated 9 to 9.25 on the Mohs scale, which makes it exceptionally hard-wearing for everyday jewelry. Rather than sparkling white, black moissanite reads as a glossy, inky jet that contrasts strikingly with warm gold and the leafy metalwork. It is a confident, budget-friendly way to bring bold color and edge to a band. To understand the stone behind the color, our guide on whether moissanite is a lab-grown diamond and our moissanite versus lab-grown diamond comparison are both worth a read.
Solid yellow gold
The band is made in real solid yellow gold, selected from the drop-down — every option is genuine solid gold, never plated or filled, so the warm color runs all the way through the metal. Choose 10K for the most durable and most affordable option, 14K for the classic best-selling balance, or 18K for the highest gold content and deepest color. Because it is solid gold, it can be resized and repaired for a lifetime. Not sure which karat suits you? Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat comparison guide lays it out. White or rose gold are available on request, and you can see companion styles in our moissanite wedding bands.
Symbolism and styling
Leaves and vines have always symbolized growth, renewal and a love that keeps unfurling — and the black stones add a note of mystery and individuality that suits couples who like their romance a little unconventional. Wear it as a striking solo band, stack it with a solitaire, or give it as a promise ring with meaning. For more on the gem’s deeper associations, see our note on moissanite meaning and symbolism.

Sizing & care
Choose your size at checkout; sizes 3–10 are standard, with half, quarter and extended sizes available on request. If you are between sizes, contact us and we will help — and if the fit is not quite right, resizing is available and starts from a modest fee. To keep the leaves and black moissanites looking their best, remove the band before applying lotions or fragrance, clean gently with a soft cloth around the detailing, and store it in the velvet box between wears. Its low-profile solid gold build is made for comfortable, everyday wear.
Frequently asked questions
Are the black stones real moissanites?
Yes. Each stone is a genuine lab-grown black moissanite — a real gemstone (silicon carbide) with a Mohs hardness of 9 to 9.25, which makes it very durable for daily wear.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes. This ring is crafted in real solid gold in your chosen karat — 10K, 14K or 18K — never plated or filled, so the warm color runs all the way through the metal.
Which karat should I choose?
All three are solid yellow gold. Choose 10K for the most durable and affordable option, 14K for the classic everyday balance and our most popular default, or 18K for the highest gold content and richest color.
What does black moissanite look like?
Glossy, inky and jet-black rather than sparkling white — it reads bold and dramatic against warm gold and the sculpted leaves, giving the band a modern, gently gothic character.
How wide is the band?
Approximately 2.5mm — substantial enough to show off the leaf detailing and stones, yet low-profile and comfortable for everyday wear and stacking.
Can I wear it as a wedding or promise ring?
Absolutely. Its meaningful leaf-and-vine symbolism makes it a beautiful wedding band, promise ring or anniversary piece, and it layers well with an engagement ring.
Is it good for daily wear?
Yes. Solid gold and moissanite’s 9–9.25 hardness make this a hard-wearing everyday band. The low profile keeps it comfortable and easy to live in.
Can I customize the stones?
Yes. Custom gemstone colors, shapes and sizes are available — contact us for a personalized quote and we will tailor it for you.
Can I get it in white or rose gold?
Yes. Yellow gold is shown here, and white or rose gold are available on request — just reach out before ordering.
What sizes are available?
Sizes 3 to 10 are standard, with half, quarter and extended sizes available on request. If you are unsure, contact us for guidance.
Is resizing available?
Yes. Because it is solid gold, this band can be resized and repaired. Resizing starts from a modest fee — contact us and we will help.
How do I care for it?
Remove it before applying lotions or fragrance, clean gently with a soft cloth around the leaf detailing, and store it in the velvet box between wears to keep it looking freshly finished.
Does it arrive gift-ready?
Every order ships in a free luxury velvet gift box and is backed by our lifetime warranty — ready for a wedding, anniversary or meaningful gift.
✨ Production time

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.

Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
