The Amelia three stone emerald cut engagement ring centers an IGI-certified lab-grown emerald cut diamond — D color, VVS clarity, ~1.5ct — flanked by two lab-grown diamond side stones for a classic three-stone silhouette. Clean step-cut lines and cool white gold give it timeless, architectural elegance. Made to order and ready to engrave.
The diamond
The center is a genuine lab-grown emerald cut diamond — chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond, with the same carbon structure, the same 10 Mohs hardness, and the same fire and brilliance, grown in a lab and clearly disclosed. It's graded D color (the top, completely colorless grade) and VVS clarity, and every ring ships with an IGI certificate and a unique serial number. To learn more, read our complete guide to lab-grown diamonds, how lab-grown diamonds are made, and IGI vs GIA certification.
The three stone setting
The emerald cut is a step cut — long, parallel facets that create a dramatic hall-of-mirrors effect and reward the eye with clarity rather than crushed sparkle. Two matching lab-grown diamond side stones flank the center in a classic three-stone arrangement, often said to symbolize your past, present, and future together. The elongated shape flatters the finger and makes the center look larger. Explore more emerald cut engagement rings and three stone engagement rings in the collection.
Choose your metal & karat
This ring is solid metal throughout — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil over a base metal. Cool white gold sharpens a diamond's brilliance and keeps the look crisp and modern. Pick the karat that fits your budget and durability preference, or step up to platinum. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat comparison guide breaks down the differences.
10K White Gold
Hardest and most affordable, with excellent everyday durability.
14K White Gold
Our most popular — the ideal balance of durability and value.
18K White Gold
Higher gold content for a richer, more luxurious feel.
Platinum
Naturally white, densest and most durable, hypoallergenic.
Prefer a warmer look? This design is also available in yellow or rose gold on request. Whichever metal you choose, the color is permanent — it won't wear off and won't turn your skin green.

An optional written appraisal can be added from the drop-down menu (non-refundable once completed). Browse the full lab-grown diamond engagement rings collection for matching styles.
Three stone emerald cut engagement ring FAQs
Is the diamond real?
Yes — a genuine lab-grown diamond, chemically and optically identical to a mined diamond, with the same 10 Mohs hardness and brilliance. It's a real diamond with a lab origin, clearly disclosed — not moissanite or cubic zirconia.
What does a three-stone setting symbolize?
Three-stone rings are often said to represent your past, present, and future together. Practically, the two side stones add sparkle and width and make the emerald cut center appear larger.
Why choose an emerald cut?
The emerald cut is a step cut with long, parallel facets that create an elegant hall-of-mirrors effect. It reads as clean and sophisticated, elongates the finger, and highlights a diamond's clarity — which is why a high grade like VVS suits it so well.
What do D color, VVS, and IGI certified mean?
D is the highest color grade — completely colorless. VVS means inclusions are virtually invisible under 10x magnification. IGI is one of the leading diamond grading labs; your certificate documents the stone's exact weight and grades with a unique serial number.
Are the side stones also lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. The two flanking side stones are matching lab-grown diamonds, selected to complement the emerald cut center for a cohesive, brilliant three-stone look.
Which metal should I choose?
10K white gold is the hardest and most affordable; 14K is our most popular for its balance of durability and value; 18K has more gold for a richer feel; platinum is naturally white, densest, and hypoallergenic. All are genuine solid metal.
Is this real solid white gold?
Yes. The ring is solid white gold (or platinum) throughout — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil. The color is permanent, won't wear off, and won't turn skin green.
How is a lab-grown diamond different from a mined one?
Only its origin. A lab-grown diamond has the same crystal structure, hardness, and optical properties as a mined diamond — the difference is that it's grown in a controlled lab rather than mined. Our how lab-grown diamonds are made guide explains the process.
Can I get a matching wedding band?
Yes — a matching band can be custom made to order. Contact us and we'll help you pair it with this ring.
Do you offer other carat sizes or shapes?
Yes. Different gemstone options and carat weights are available on request — reach out for a custom quote.
How do I find my ring size?
See our sizing guide. Sizing can vary slightly by jeweler, often up to a half size, so we recommend confirming before ordering. Half and quarter sizes are available.
Is engraving included?
Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included with every ring.
How long does it take to make?
This ring is made to order; please allow 3–5 weeks for it to be handcrafted. Requested modifications may adjust the timeline and pricing.
✨ Production time
Every ring on this page is cast, set and finished for your order. Nothing is taken from stock.
- Made-to-order solid gold and platinum: 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end.

- USPS Ground Advantage — free on every order
- FedEx Home Delivery® — $10
- FedEx 2Day® — $22

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.
AVAILABILITY
Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.
CHARACTER LIMITS
Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.
• Women’s rings: up to 16 characters
• Men’s rings: up to 25 characters
FONT AND SYMBOLS
Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Custom fonts, or symbols outside this selection, are available for $25. For a logo or bespoke design, email us an SVG file before you order so our team can confirm it will engrave cleanly. Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
