Ice on ice: this lab grown diamond bridal set stages an IGI-certified D color, VVS clarity coffin cut diamond against cool solid white gold — or platinum — with a diamond-accented contour band tracing its edge. All drama, zero color, fully certified.
The Engagement Ring
An elongated coffin cut lab-grown diamond, approximately 10 x 6 mm and roughly 1.80–2.10 carats, framed by delicate diamond accents and intricate milgrain detailing.
The Contour Band
A matching curved band, set with lab-grown diamond accents, that follows the coffin silhouette to create a crown-like profile. Average band width is a slender 1.7 mm.
White metal, white diamond, maximum contrast
Where a yellow gold setting warms a diamond, white gold and platinum do the opposite: they disappear into it. Set against cool white metal, the D color center stone reads as pure, uninterrupted light — the whole set becomes one continuous glint of ice. It is the sharpest way to wear the coffin silhouette, and a striking counterpoint to the warmer pieces in our coffin cut engagement rings collection. For brides drawn to moonlit, alternative styling, it slots naturally alongside our gothic engagement rings.
An IGI-certified lab-grown diamond
The center stone is a lab-grown diamond — a real diamond in every measurable sense, with the same crystal structure, brilliance, and Mohs 10 hardness as a mined stone. It ships with an official IGI certificate confirming its D color grade (the very top of the colorless scale) and VVS clarity. If you are weighing your center-stone options, our guides on whether moissanite is a lab-grown diamond and lab-grown vs natural diamonds lay out the differences plainly. The accent stones on both rings are lab-grown diamonds too, graded D–F color and VVS–VS clarity.
Choose white gold in three karats, or platinum
The drop-down offers solid 10K, 14K, or 18K white gold, plus platinum. 10K white gold is the most durable and most affordable; 14K is the classic everyday balance; 18K carries the highest gold content for a richer, weightier feel. Platinum is the premium path: naturally white all the way through, noticeably denser, and hypoallergenic. Our platinum vs gold guide compares the two metals side by side, and the same design is available in solid yellow or rose gold on request. Either way it belongs to the same family as our solid gold rings — precious metal through and through.
Milgrain detail, heirloom intent
Fine milgrain beading edges the settings, giving the set a candlelit, antique texture that softens its modern geometry. Because the contour band was designed for this exact ring, the two pieces nest as a single sculpted silhouette on the hand — and when the wedding day comes, our diamond wedding bands offer more ways to stack. Every set arrives in a luxury ring box with free USA shipping, and every stone is conflict-free.

Sizing & care
Select your ring size from the drop-down; sizing can vary slightly between jewelers, so our find your size guide is worth a quick check before you order. To clean, soak the rings in warm water with a drop of mild soap, work a soft brush gently around the milgrain and accents, rinse, and dry with a lint-free cloth. Store the set in its box between wears to protect the fine detailing. An optional professional appraisal is available at checkout.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a coffin cut diamond special?
The coffin cut is a rare elongated shape with tapered, angular sides. It is bold and unmistakable on the hand, favored for gothic, celestial, and art-deco inspired bridal styles, yet it still faces up with genuine diamond fire.
Is the center stone a real diamond?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds — identical to mined diamonds in chemistry, optics, and Mohs 10 hardness. The only difference is origin: this one was grown in a controlled lab rather than pulled from the earth.
What does the IGI certificate cover?
The International Gemological Institute independently grades the center diamond and documents its shape, color, clarity, and carat weight, so the D color and VVS clarity are verified on paper — not just claimed.
Why is D color significant?
D is the highest grade on the diamond color scale — completely colorless. In a white gold or platinum setting there is no warm tone to mask, so a D color stone shows the metal-and-ice effect at its most dramatic.
What comes in this bridal set?
Two pieces designed together: the coffin cut lab-grown diamond engagement ring and a diamond-accented contour band shaped to sit flush against it as one silhouette.
Should I choose white gold or platinum?
White gold in 10K, 14K, or 18K delivers the icy look at three price points, with 14K as the everyday classic. Platinum is denser, naturally white throughout, and hypoallergenic — the choice for maximum longevity and heft.
How big is the center diamond?
Approximately 10 x 6 mm — about 1.80–2.10 carats depending on the finished stone. The elongated coffin shape stretches visually along the finger, so it wears bigger than the number suggests.
Are the accent stones certified quality too?
The accents on both rings are lab-grown diamonds graded D–F color and VVS–VS clarity, chosen to match the icy brightness of the certified center stone.
Can I get this set in yellow or rose gold?
Yes. The drop-down covers white gold and platinum, and the same design can be made in solid yellow or rose gold on request — contact us before ordering and we will arrange it.
Is this set suitable for daily wear?
Absolutely. Diamond is the hardest gemstone on earth at Mohs 10, and both white gold and platinum are lifetime metals. Simple habits — removing the rings for rough work and harsh chemicals — keep them flawless for decades.
Do you include engraving?
Yes, complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included with the set — a date, coordinates, or a phrase only the two of you understand.
How long until my set ships?
Each set is handmade to order; please allow 2–5 weeks for production. Requested modifications may adjust production time or pricing.
Can the diamond be customized?
Yes — custom diamond sizes, shapes, and colors are available. Contact us for a tailored quote before placing your order.
Can I add an appraisal?
Yes. An optional independent appraisal is available at checkout for insurance purposes. Appraisal fees are non-refundable once the appraisal is completed.
✨ Production time

Every order ships fully insured and requires a signature. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Engraving is cut into the inside of the band, so it stays between the two of you.

Engraving is offered on most — though not all — designs. If it is available for this ring, an engraving field appears with the options above.

Limits depend on the width and design of the band. Spaces count toward the total.

Standard engraving is complimentary and set in Arial, chosen because it stays legible at very small sizes. These symbols are included at no extra cost:

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
