Explore our warranty policy and jewelry aftercare, thoughtfully designed to preserve the brilliance of your Aquamarise® treasures.
Our Ring Warranty
Aquamarise® is the brand that stands behind its word. We know that a jewelry warranty is not about covering everything. It’s more about covering for the unexpected by guaranteeing against craftsmanship failures.
The Aquamarise® ring warranty is structured with clarity. We believe in long-term accountability and support each of Aquamarise® creation by defined standards and dedicated aftercare.
What Aquamarise®’s Limited Lifetime Warranty Covers
At Aquamarise®, jewelry comes with a limited warranty that protects against manufacturing defects and craftsmanship issues. Meaning, it covers issues that arise due to improper construction rather than routine daily wear.
Under the warranty, jewelry creations may be repaired or replaced in case of structural faults, stone‑setting errors, faulty solder joints, or defective closures. If these faults are present at delivery, they are attributed to manufacturing imperfections, and our warranty covers them.
The warranty, however, varies depending on the type of metal. Solid gold and platinum are eligible for a limited lifetime warranty, and other metals are covered for a defined period.
Key components covered under the warranty include:
- Cracked bands
- Loose stone settings
- Fabrication defects
- Misaligned gallery
- Solder seam separation or porosity
- Gemstone surface imperfections and finishes
What’s Not Covered in the Warranty
Aquamarise® does not believe in making unrealistic promises. We understand that transparency is most important to our valued clients.
We therefore clearly state what our warranty does not include or areas it doesn’t extend to.
Our fine jewelry warranty does not cover:
- Normal and natural patina or surface wear
- Microabrasions due to daily use
- Damage due to exposure to trauma and harsh chemicals
- Tension alteration or damage
- Loss and theft of our jewelry pieces
- Damage resulting from impact or pressure
- Any condition not caused by a manufacturing defect
Ring Resizing and Repairs
A perfectly fitted ring not only looks beautiful but also exhibits elegance and confidence. Aquamarise® manufactures designer pieces of heirloom standard that are handed down through generations. We understand that they may require adjustments over time.
We offer a one‑time complimentary exchange for eligible non‑custom and non‑engraved rings within the United States. However, the request has to be made within 14 days of delivery, and the ring must be unworn and in its original condition. (Read more on our Returns and Refund Policy.)
To resize or exchange your ring:
- Submit Your Exchange Request: Make the request on our page within14 days of purchase.
- Exchange: We will exchange the ring for the right size at no additional cost to you.
- Processing time: The processing time is usually 2 to 3 business days after receipt of the ring.
For custom rings or engraved rings that need resizing after the 14-day window, resizing and repairs may be offered at a fee. These are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis, and the fees depend on the:
- Complexity of the ring design
- Type of metal
- Engravings
- Current condition of the ring
Please note: Not all types of rings can be resized. Styles with intricate channels, delicate stone settings, or inlays may be unable to accommodate the changes.
In such cases, Aquamarise® may request photos of the ring to assess feasibility and provide you with a personalized quote before proceeding.
Professional Repair Service
At times, the ring may need more than a simple adjustment. Aquamarise® provides the professional repair service you need to preserve its aesthetics while maintaining its functional integrity.
In addition to resizing, our experts inspect and repair issues such as compromised prongs or cracked bands, minor scratches, and refinish to restore the original shine of the bands. If the gemstones need resetting, they are aligned and secured. Metal refinishing is also offered to revive the luster.
However, all repair services are subject to evaluation. Repairs outside warranty coverage are offered at a service fee.
How to Care for Your Ring
Aquamarise® luxury rings are more than just a symbol of artistry. They have a history, and we know that proper care can help preserve their brilliance and integrity over time.
Here’s our guideline for daily care for your jewelry to make it last.
Daily Care for Different Metals
Understanding the unique needs of each heirloom bought from Aquamarise® can prevent wear and costly repairs.
Sterling Silver
Strikingly elegant but highly prone to tarnish, sterling silver is particularly sensitive to harsh chemicals and exposure to air and moisture.
But you can make it stand against the test of time by polishing regularly with a microfibre cloth that prevents oxidation.
Another way to increase the life of the silver is to store it in an airtight container to reduce all contact with air and humidity. Take it to the professionals for cleaning once or twice a year to maintain its luster.
Gold (Rose Gold, Yellow Gold, and White)
Gold bands and jewelry not only look elegant but are also resistant to the tests of time. A simple cleaning, 2 to 4 times a year, is enough to remove the residue and oils that linger on due to daily use.
White gold, however, may have to be replated every 12 to 18 months, depending on the condition of wear.
Tungsten Carbide
Tungsten carbide is exceptionally strong and resistant to scratches, making it one of the most durable metals used in fine jewelry. Its toughness allows for minimal maintenance. All it takes is a gentle cleaning with mild soap and warm water, followed by drying with a soft cloth.
With proper care, tungsten carbide creations from Aquamarise® can retain their polished appearance, enduring as treasured heirlooms for a lifetime.
Vermeil
Vermeil jewelry is covered with a thick layer of gold plating over sterling silver. Being an alternative to solid gold, it's relatively low-maintenance. However, care must be taken to keep chemicals, moisture, and abrasion away from it.
Over time, it’s natural for the gold layer to gradually fade, for which periodic replating is recommended for restoration.
Daily Care for Gemstones
According to the Gemological Institute of America, understanding a gemstone’s durability and its resistance to scratching, breaking, and environmental factors is important for safe cleaning and care practices for each stone.
Natural gemstones like moss agate are generally durable and can withstand daily wear. Softer stones, on the other hand, require extra care to prevent impact, such as scratching and chipping. Prolonged exposure to UV rays can also alter certain gemstones’ color over time.
However, care is easy and simple. As recommended by the American Gem Society, a mixture of warm water and mild soap, applied with a soft brush, keeps the surface free of dirt and oils.
Lab-Grown Gemstones
Lab-grown gemstones are a modern alternative to natural stones. These often have fewer inclusions and a more consistent color, which makes them highly desirable for fine jewelry. Despite their durability, these pieces still require gentle handling.
Routine care can be done using a soft brush and warm water with mild soap to remove oils and dirt. Simply avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and prolonged exposure to heat.
Also, store these separately from other jewelry to prevent scratches.
Moissanite
Known for its exceptional fire and brilliant moissanite tends to get cloudy over time. Since the stone is designed for daily wear, it exhibits a strong resistance to heat and chemicals.
Regular cleaning with mild soap and a soft brush can make its shine last.
At-Home Cleaning vs Professional Cleaning
While home maintenance keeps your jewelry radiant and lasting, you may need professional visits for a deeper cleaning and inspection.
A trained jeweler can catch subtle wear on prongs, settings, and metal surfaces that you might miss. According to Jewelers of America, fine jewelry should be inspected by a jeweler at least once a year and professionally cleaned every six months.
Professional care includes ultrasonic or steam cleaning, polishing, and a careful evaluation of settings and prongs.
You may adjust the frequency of inspections depending on how often you wear the piece. (Daily‑wear rings can benefit from more frequent inspections, while occasionally worn pieces may be serviced once a year.)
