Some stones sparkle; moonstone glows. The Victoria is a moonstone engagement ring in rose gold that pairs a natural oval-cut moonstone — alive with drifting blue and pearly light — with a halo of D-color VVS1 moissanite, all in solid 10K, 14K, or 18K rose gold. It is the ring for someone who wants moonlight on her hand, not just fire.
The Victoria: A Halo Built Around Glow
Most halo engagement rings exist to amplify sparkle. The Victoria uses the halo differently: the crisp, white brilliance of the moissanite frame surrounds the moonstone’s soft luminescence like starlight ringing the moon, so the two kinds of light play against each other instead of competing. The contrast is the design — sharp against soft, fire against glow — and it gives the center stone more presence on the hand than it would ever have alone. You can see how the halo compares with other settings across our moonstone engagement rings collection.
Adularescence: Light That Moves
Moonstone’s signature effect is called adularescence — a billowy sheen that rolls across the stone as it tilts, caused by light scattering between microscopic layers inside the feldspar crystal. Every natural moonstone carries its own version of it, with flashes of blue and pearly white that no photograph fully captures. The stone has been read as a talisman of intuition, balance, and new beginnings for centuries; our journal traces the full story in moonstone meaning, and covers its role as a June birthstone too.
A Moissanite Halo with Diamond-Grade Credentials
The halo stones are moissanite graded D color — the top of the colorless scale — and VVS1 clarity, with brilliance and fire that exceed diamond’s. At Mohs 9, moissanite is also one of the hardest gem materials there is, which makes it the ideal guardian frame for a softer romantic center. The pairing is deliberate: durable, brilliant accents doing the everyday work while the moonstone does the enchanting.
Solid Rose Gold, Three Karats
The Victoria is made to order in solid 10K, 14K, or 18K rose gold, chosen from the drop-down. 10K is the hardest-wearing and most affordable; 14K is the classic balance of durability and gold content that most couples choose; 18K carries the highest gold content and the warmest blush. Because the color comes from the metal itself, not a coating, it is permanent. Our karat comparison guide breaks down the differences, and the same design is available in solid white or yellow gold on request. Browse more warm-toned designs in our rose gold rings and the wider solid gold rings collection.

Sizing & Care
Order in your exact size — our find-your-size guide shows you how to measure at home. Moonstone sits at 6–6.5 on the Mohs scale, softer than sapphire or diamond, so it rewards a little mindfulness: take the ring off for the gym, gardening, and housework, keep it away from harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners, and wash it with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Our honest guide to moonstone durability and care covers everything else. The Victoria ships free in the USA in a free luxury ring box.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the moonstone natural?
Yes. The center stone is a natural oval-cut moonstone, not a synthetic or a simulant. Each stone forms with its own internal structure, so every Victoria glows a little differently — yours is one of a kind.
What is the glow inside the stone called?
Adularescence — a soft, billowy light that rolls across the surface as the stone moves. It comes from light scattering between fine layers inside the feldspar crystal, and it is the effect that gives moonstone its name.
Can I wear a moonstone ring every day?
Yes, with mindful habits. Moonstone is 6–6.5 on the Mohs scale — softer than sapphire or diamond — so remove the ring for impact-heavy tasks like the gym, gardening, or cleaning, and it will stay beautiful for years.
Are the halo stones diamonds?
They are moissanite, graded D color and VVS1 clarity — a real lab-grown gemstone with more brilliance and fire than diamond and a Mohs hardness of 9. They are not simulants, and they will not cloud or dull with time.
Which karat of rose gold should I pick?
10K is the most durable and budget-friendly, 14K is the most popular balance of strength and gold content, and 18K has the highest gold content with the richest color. All three are genuine solid rose gold.
Is this ring really solid gold?
Yes. Every karat option is solid rose gold all the way through — never plated or gold-filled — so the warm color is permanent and the metal holds lasting value.
Can I order it in white or yellow gold?
Yes. The Victoria is photographed in rose gold, but the same design is available in solid white or yellow gold on request — just contact us before placing your order.
Is moonstone a birthstone?
Yes — moonstone is one of June’s birthstones, which makes the Victoria a meaningful engagement ring or milestone gift for anyone born that month.
What does moonstone symbolize?
Moonstone has long stood for intuition, balance, and new beginnings — a fitting emblem for the start of a marriage. Many couples choose it precisely because its meaning is tied to growth and fresh chapters.
Does the halo make the ring look bigger?
Yes. The ring of brilliant moissanite visually extends the center stone and adds sparkle from every angle, giving the ring more presence on the hand without the cost of a larger center.
How should I clean this ring?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, and a soft cloth or very soft brush. Skip ultrasonic and steam cleaners and harsh chemicals — they are too aggressive for moonstone.
How do I find my ring size?
Use the find-your-size guide linked in the sizing section — it walks you through measuring a finger or an existing ring at home. If you land between sizes, most people size up.
What is included with my order?
A free luxury ring box, free USA shipping, and conflict-free stones. Each Victoria is made to order in your chosen karat and size, ready for the proposal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
