Dusk in a forest: cool silver light above, the last embers of sunset glowing between the branches. That is the palette of this moss agate and fire opal fairy leaf ring in solid 14K white gold — a marquise natural moss agate wrapped in sculpted leaves and vines, with lab-grown Australian fire opals flickering warm color against the bright, cool metal.
Two stones, one enchanted mood
The pairing is the point. The marquise moss agate supplies the forest — translucent quartz threaded with green, branch-like inclusions that formed naturally, so no two stones are ever alike. The fire opals supply the light: soft, shifting flashes of warm color that read like fireflies against the white gold. Cool stone, warm accents, silvery metal — a moss agate white gold ring that feels lit from within rather than merely polished. If opals are the part you fell for, our fire opal engagement ring guide is a lovely rabbit hole.
Leaves and vines, sculpted in white gold
The band is worked into a sculpted leaf-and-vine design with a high-polish finish, holding the marquise stone the way a stem holds a bud. It is fairy-core in spirit and botanical in detail, made for engagements, anniversaries, and vow renewals alike — and equally at home among our leaf engagement rings, fairy engagement rings, and the broader field of nature-inspired engagement rings.
Solid white gold — or platinum
Choose from the drop-down: 10K solid white gold is the most durable and most affordable; 14K is the classic, most-popular balance of strength and precious-metal purity, and our default; 18K carries the highest gold content for the most luxurious feel. Prefer a naturally white metal? Solid platinum is denser and hypoallergenic. Every option is solid precious metal all the way through. Yellow and rose gold are available on request, and our karat comparison guide walks through the trade-offs.
Built for real life, not just photographs
Moss agate sits around 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale — a quartz-family stone that handles daily wear gracefully when you treat it kindly. Take the ring off for rough work, keep it clear of harsh chemicals, and it will hold its beauty for decades; our deep dive on whether moss agate is durable covers the honest details. And because the stone carries so much personal symbolism — growth, grounding, renewal — it helps to read what moss agate means before it becomes the stone you wear every day.

Sizing & care
The ring runs true to size — pick yours from the drop-down, and check our find-your-size guide if you would like to measure at home first. For care, remove the ring before heavy impact or chemical exposure, and clean it gently with a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and mild soap. Both moss agate and fire opal prefer that gentle routine over ultrasonic or steam cleaning.
Frequently asked questions
Is the moss agate natural?
Yes. The marquise center stone is natural moss agate. Its green, branch-like inclusions formed organically, so every stone is one of a kind and your ring will differ slightly — beautifully — from the photos.
What are the fire opal accents?
They are lab-grown Australian fire opals — created in a controlled environment with the same shifting play of warm color that makes fire opal so beloved, and set as accents around the moss agate.
Is this ring solid white gold?
Yes. Choose solid 10K, 14K, or 18K white gold, or solid platinum — every option is precious metal all the way through, never filled, so the color is permanent.
Which metal option should I pick?
10K white gold is the most durable and affordable; 14K is our most popular, balancing strength and purity; 18K holds the most gold for the richest feel; platinum is a denser, naturally white, hypoallergenic premium option.
Can I get it in yellow or rose gold?
Yes — yellow and rose gold are available on request. Contact us before you order and we will set up your preferred metal.
Why pair moss agate with fire opal?
Contrast. The moss agate carries cool, earthy green while the fire opals flash warm color, so the ring balances forest and firelight in one design — an unusual pairing you will rarely see elsewhere.
Is moss agate durable enough for daily wear?
Yes, with care. At roughly 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale it wears well day to day; just remove the ring for heavy impact, abrasive work, and harsh chemicals.
How should I care for the fire opals?
Treat them like the moss agate: gentle cleaning with a soft cloth, mild soap, and lukewarm water, and no ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Avoid hard knocks and chemical exposure.
Will my ring match the photos exactly?
Nearly — the metalwork will, but the moss agate’s inclusions are unique to each stone, so your ring’s inner landscape will be yours alone.
Does it work as an engagement ring?
Absolutely. It is designed as a non-traditional engagement ring and works equally well as an anniversary ring, vow-renewal ring, or meaningful heirloom piece.
Does the ring fit true to size?
Yes, it is made true to size. If you are unsure of yours, measure with our sizing guide before ordering — it takes a few minutes and saves a resize later.
Is this ring made to order?
Yes. Each ring is crafted to order in your chosen metal and size, so it is made specifically for you rather than pulled from a shelf.
✨ Production time

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
