Aquamarise Warranty
Every Aquamarise piece is backed by a Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects — with a Limited Lifetime commitment on solid gold and platinum. Here are the exact terms, plainly stated.
This Limited Warranty sets forth the legal terms governing warranty coverage for jewelry purchased from Aquamarise®. Please read it carefully — it defines your rights and obligations. It applies only to jewelry purchased directly from Aquamarise and is valid only for the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.
Warranty Coverage
Aquamarise warrants that its jewelry will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the applicable warranty period below. Coverage applies only to items purchased directly from Aquamarise, for the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.
Warranty Period
Coverage begins on the original date of purchase and applies by material:
What Is & Isn't Covered
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover damage from wear, care or handling. All determinations are made at Aquamarise's sole discretion.
- Defective clasps or closures
- Faulty solder joints
- Structural defects present at delivery
- Stone-setting defects that loosen or drop stones due to manufacturing error
- Manufacturing-related finish defects
- Normal wear & tear — scratches, thinning metal, worn prongs, softened finish, plating fade
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents or improper care
- Loss or theft of jewelry or gemstones
- Chemical exposure — chlorine, bleach, cleaning agents, cosmetics
- Impact, pressure or abnormal wear
- Work by any jeweler other than Aquamarise (alter, resize, repair, modify)
- Damage from improper storage
- Stone loss from normal wear over time
- Any condition not caused by a manufacturing defect
Repair or Replacement
If an item qualifies, Aquamarise will, at its sole discretion, repair it or replace it with the same product or a comparable design of equal value if the original is unavailable. Replacements may not be identical due to availability, gemstone variation or design updates; we don't guarantee exact stone matching or aesthetic duplication.
Claim Process
If approved, we'll send instructions to return the item for inspection. Confirmed defects are repaired or replaced at no cost; issues that don't qualify may be repaired at additional cost with your approval. Start a claim on our Contact Us page or live chat.
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for shipping jewelry to Aquamarise for evaluation unless otherwise stated; we're not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us. Return shipping for approved repairs or replacements is provided by Aquamarise.
Non-Transferability
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
No Insurance Coverage
This warranty is not insurance. It does not cover loss, theft, accidental damage or normal wear and tear. We encourage independent jewelry insurance for additional protection.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aquamarise is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages — including loss of use, loss of value or emotional distress. Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the item.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties — including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are limited in duration to the express warranty period above. Some jurisdictions don't allow such limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Governing Law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws applicable to Aquamarise's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing here limits any statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
