This Toi et Moi ring in solid 14K white gold pairs two stones cheek to cheek — a pear-cut IGI-certified lab-grown diamond beside an emerald-cut natural aquamarine. “Toi et Moi” is French for “you and me”: two distinct souls brought together as one, in icy blue and brilliant white. A romantic, non-traditional engagement ring or meaningful gift.

Two stones, you & me
The Toi et Moi (French for “you and me”) setting places two stones side by side, angled toward each other — a romantic symbol of two lives joining. Here a crisp white lab-grown diamond meets a soft icy-blue aquamarine, a pairing that stands for clarity, harmony and an everlasting connection.
The lab-grown diamond
One side is a pear (teardrop) cut lab-grown diamond, about 5.0×8.0 mm and roughly 0.9 carat, graded D color (the highest, completely colorless) and VVS clarity. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond — the same carbon crystal, hardness (Mohs 10) and fire as a mined diamond — simply created in a lab, ethically and eco-consciously. It is IGI-certified with a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number. Learn more in our complete lab-grown diamond guide and IGI vs GIA certification explainer.
The natural aquamarine
The other side is a natural emerald-cut aquamarine, about 5.0×7.0 mm, in a cool icy blue. Aquamarine is a natural beryl, Mohs 7.5–8, ethically sourced, and the birthstone for March. Its calm sea-blue is the perfect foil to the diamond’s bright sparkle.
Choose your metal & karat
The ring is made in solid white gold or platinum — never plated or filled — so the cool color runs all the way through. Choose the metal that suits you:
White gold is gold alloyed with white metals and finished with rhodium for a bright cool-white; platinum is naturally white and especially dense and durable. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat guide explains the differences. Prefer yellow or rose gold? This ring can be made in either on request — contact us for a custom quote.

Sizing & care
The ring is made to order in full, half and quarter sizes from 3 to 11, and complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. If you’re unsure of your size, use our ring size guide before ordering. Diamond is the hardest gem there is (Mohs 10); aquamarine is durable but softer, so clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoid harsh chemicals and hard knocks, and store the ring separately.

Every ring is handmade to order in solid metal and typically ships within 3–5 weeks, packaged in a signature ring box. Each lab-grown diamond ring includes a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number.
Frequently asked questions
What does “Toi et Moi” mean?
It’s French for “you and me.” A Toi et Moi ring sets two stones side by side to symbolize two people coming together — here, a lab-grown diamond and a natural aquamarine.
Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes — a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, chemically and physically identical to a mined diamond (the same carbon crystal, Mohs 10 hardness and fire). The only difference is that it’s created in a lab rather than mined.
Is it IGI-certified?
Yes — the diamond is IGI-certified and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number verifying its quality and origin. See our IGI vs GIA guide for more.
Is the aquamarine natural?
Yes — it’s a natural, ethically sourced aquamarine (a beryl, Mohs 7.5–8) in an emerald cut, and the birthstone for March.
How durable is the ring?
The diamond is Mohs 10 (the hardest gem), while the aquamarine is Mohs 7.5–8 and a little softer, so the ring benefits from gentle care and protection from hard knocks.
What metals can I choose?
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K white gold, or platinum, from the drop-down. Yellow or rose gold are available on request — contact us for a custom quote.
Is the metal solid or plated?
Always solid. The metal runs through the entire piece, so it will never wear off or expose a base metal underneath.
What’s the difference between white gold and platinum?
White gold is gold alloyed with white metals and rhodium-finished for a bright cool-white; platinum is naturally white and especially dense and durable. Both look similar; platinum is heavier and premium.
What’s the difference between 10K, 14K and 18K?
Higher karats hold more pure gold but are a little softer; lower karats are harder and more affordable. See our karat comparison guide for details.
How do I find my ring size?
Use our ring size guide. The ring is made to order in sizes 3 to 11, including half and quarter sizes.
Is engraving included?
Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. Add your text at checkout.
How long until it ships?
Each ring is handmade to order and typically ships within 3–5 weeks.
