The kite-cut natural moss agate
The center is a 7×10mm kite-cut natural green moss agate (~1.4ct) — an elongated hexagonal cut with pointed ends that frames the stone's organic moss-like inclusions in an architectural composition. Moss agate is a variety of chalcedony quartz; because it's genuinely natural (not lab-created or simulated), each stone's green inclusion pattern is one of a kind — yours will share the same green character shown in our photos with subtle individual variations. Two marquise-cut natural moss agate accents flank the center, with small CZ rounds adding sparkle. Our guide to moss agate meaning explores its symbolism of growth and nature.
A two-piece bridal stack
Engagement Ring
Kite-cut natural green moss agate center (7×10mm, ~1.4ct) with marquise moss agate side accents and CZ rounds. Solid white gold.
Chevron Contour Band
V-shape band with pavé moissanite or natural diamond accents along the V and a marquise accent at the point, designed to nest beneath the engagement ring. Matching solid white gold.
Worn together, the chevron band's V nests below the center stone for one coherent design; each ring can also be worn on its own. A men's matching band can be made on request for a complete couples set. Explore more moss agate engagement rings and other botanical styles in our nature-inspired engagement rings.
Choose your accent stones
Select from the drop-down menu: moissanite (D color, 9–9.25 Mohs, ~0.3ctw) for maximum fire and value, or natural conflict-free diamond (G/H, I1, 10 Mohs, ~0.3ctw) for tradition and heritage. Both pair beautifully with the green moss agate center. Moissanite is its own gemstone — not a diamond or lab-grown diamond; our is moissanite a lab-grown diamond? guide explains the difference.
Choose your metal & karat
Select your metal and karat from the drop-down. Every option is solid gold (or solid platinum) throughout — the metal itself, never plating or vermeil over a base metal, so the color is permanent, won't wear off, and won't turn your skin green. Karat sets the gold's purity and price: 10K is the most durable and affordable, 14K is our most popular balance of rich color and everyday strength, and 18K is the purest, warmest gold. Platinum is a naturally white, hypoallergenic, and exceptionally durable premium metal. The cool white of white gold and platinum makes the green moss agate read most vividly. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K gold karat comparison guide walks through how they differ.
-
10K White Gold: maximum durability, most affordable
-
14K White Gold: our most popular — rich color with everyday strength
-
18K White Gold: purer, warmer gold with a luxurious feel
-
Platinum: naturally white, hypoallergenic, premium heirloom metal
Moss agate symbolism
Moss agate has been valued since ancient times as a stone of growth, abundance, new beginnings, and connection to nature — often called "the gardener's stone." As an engagement stone it represents a love connected to the natural world, grounded and growing steadily over time. It's a central stone in fairycore, elvish, woodland, and nature-inspired bridal aesthetics.

Sizing & care
Moss agate is 6–7 on the Mohs scale — durable for daily wear but softer than sapphire or diamond, so avoid sharp impacts and remove the rings for heavy hands-on work. Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush; avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Both rings should be ordered in the same size since they nest together; please reference our sizing guide before ordering. An optional written appraisal can be added from the drop-down menu (non-refundable once completed).
Moss agate ring set FAQs
Is the moss agate real and natural?
Yes — the center and marquise side accents are all real natural green moss agate, mined from natural sources, not lab-created or simulated. Each stone's mossy green inclusions are unique, so yours will share the same character as our photos with subtle individual variations.
What's the kite cut?
An elongated hexagonal cut with pointed top and bottom and angled sides (sometimes called a coffin cut). Its geometry frames moss agate's organic green inclusions in an architectural composition — natural chaos held within geometric structure.
What does the chevron contour band do?
The V-shape nests beneath the engagement ring so it frames the kite-cut center from below, reading as one coherent stack. Both rings can also be worn separately.
Should I choose moissanite or natural diamond accents?
Moissanite is lab-grown, more affordable, and has higher optical brilliance; natural diamond is the traditional stone with heritage and resale value. Both pair beautifully with the moss agate center — most buyers choose moissanite for the price-to-brilliance ratio.
Which metal should I choose?
All options are solid — 10K, 14K, and 18K white gold, plus platinum. 10K is the hardest and most budget-friendly; 14K is our most popular balance of color and durability; 18K is the purest, warmest gold; and platinum is a naturally white, hypoallergenic premium metal. See our karat comparison guide for details.
Is moss agate durable enough for daily wear?
Moss agate is 6–7 on the Mohs scale — durable for daily wear but softer than harder stones, so avoid sharp impacts and remove the rings for rough work. If durability is a primary concern, contact us about substituting an alternative center stone in the same design.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes. Both rings are solid gold (or solid platinum) throughout in your chosen karat — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil. The color is permanent, won't wear off, and won't turn skin green. White gold typically receives a thin rhodium finish that can be refreshed at a local jeweler over the years.
How long does it take to make?
Made to order — please allow about 2–5 weeks. Requested modifications may adjust the timeline and pricing, and we'll confirm everything before production begins.
