At the heart of the ring sits a raw, uncut natural Herkimer “diamond”, about 5×7 mm and 1.2 carats. Despite the traditional name, a Herkimer diamond is a natural quartz crystal — not a diamond — famous for its clear, doubly-terminated form and, here, smoky salt-and-pepper inclusions that give it a galaxy-like look. It's Mohs 7–7.5, softer than diamond, so it rewards more careful wear. Because it's natural and raw, no two are alike.
Moissanite accents
Framing the center are moissanite accents that add crisp white sparkle against the raw crystal and warm rose gold. Moissanite is a lab-created gem with exceptional fire and near-diamond hardness (Mohs 9–9.25) — its own distinct gemstone, not a diamond.

The ring is made to order in full and half sizes from 3 to 11, and complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. If you're unsure of your size, use our ring size guide before ordering. The raw Herkimer quartz is softer than a diamond (Mohs 7–7.5), so treat it gently: clean with a soft, barely-damp cloth, avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners, harsh chemicals and hard knocks, and store the ring separately. If everyday durability is your priority, we can substitute a harder center stone on request.
