This green moissanite engagement ring features a vivid teal-green oval-cut moissanite center stone surrounded by a vintage-inspired halo of teal moissanite accents and milgrain detailing — all crafted in Solid White Gold · 10K / 14K / 18K · Platinum, selected from the drop-down. The design pulls from Edwardian and Art Nouveau bridal silhouettes: small accent stones radiating from the center like rays, beaded milgrain edges along the band, and a delicate 1.7mm slim profile. The teal-green color reads ocean and forest at once, and the heirloom-quality solid white gold construction means the ring is built to be passed down through generations.
The center stone: teal-green oval moissanite
The center stone is a 6×8mm oval-cut teal moissanite — a vivid blue-green color with the brilliant fire and rainbow flash that moissanite is famous for. Some moissanite buyers call this color "teal," others call it "green" or "ocean blue" — the precise shade reads differently in different lighting, sometimes pulling more toward forest green, sometimes more toward Caribbean teal. Either way, it's a distinctive color that sets this ring apart from traditional white moissanite and diamond solitaires. The oval cut elongates the finger and makes the stone appear larger than its 6×8mm footprint suggests.
The vintage halo with milgrain detail
What transforms this from a green moissanite solitaire into something distinctive is the setting itself. The center stone is surrounded by a halo of smaller teal moissanite accents arranged in a vintage-inspired pattern — top, bottom, and four corners — creating the "rays radiating outward" effect popular in Edwardian and Art Nouveau bridal jewelry. Along the slim 1.7mm band, milgrain edges (the tiny beaded line of metal that defines vintage and antique-style rings) frame small marquise-shaped openings with single accent stones, extending the halo motif down both shoulders. It sits naturally within our collection of vintage moissanite engagement rings.
Choose your metal: 10K, 14K, 18K white gold, or platinum
This ring is made in solid white gold — the bright white-silver color is the metal itself, not a plating layer, so it never fades, wears off, or needs re-plating. Choose the option that fits your priorities right from the drop-down:
- 10K white gold — the most durable and most affordable option, with the highest everyday scratch resistance.
- 14K white gold — our default and the classic balance of durability, gold content, and value; the traditional choice for engagement rings.
- 18K white gold — the highest gold content, for a richer, more luxurious feel.
- Platinum — a premium, naturally white precious metal that is denser and more substantial than gold, hypoallergenic, and never needs re-plating.
Across every option the white color is permanent and won't turn your skin green. The cool white-silver tone pairs particularly well with the teal-green moissanite, letting the stone's color be the focal point, and the alloy holds the intricate milgrain and halo detail without bending. Not sure which karat to pick? Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K gold karat comparison guide walks through the trade-offs. Other colors (yellow or rose gold) are available on request.
The mermaidcore aesthetic
The combination of teal-green color, vintage halo styling, and white gold metal places this ring firmly in the mermaidcore aesthetic — ocean and underwater fantasy imagery rendered in fine jewelry. For partners drawn to mermaid imagery, ocean themes, sea-witch styling, or simply the unique feel of teal stones in cool-toned metals, this ring carries that aesthetic without crossing into costume. It also reads as a clean vintage halo engagement ring for partners who want something Edwardian-inspired in heirloom-quality materials.
Why moissanite over diamond
Moissanite is a real lab-grown gemstone — not "fake" or "simulated" diamond, but its own distinct gemstone (silicon carbide) with higher optical brilliance than diamond and 9-9.25 hardness on the Mohs scale. It actually sparkles more than diamond, with rainbow fire that natural diamonds don't produce. Lab-grown moissanite is also the more sustainable and ethical choice — never mined, never associated with conflict zones, and significantly more affordable than natural alternatives. If you're weighing your options, our guide on how moissanite compares to a lab-grown diamond breaks down the differences. The teal-green color is a treated moissanite variety, permanent and color-stable.

Why partners choose this ring
This is the right engagement ring for partners drawn to non-traditional bridal styling who also want heirloom-quality materials — specifically those who want color in their stone but find the more common blue moissanite or pink sapphire too saturated. The teal-green moissanite hits a quieter, more grounded color note that pairs naturally with vintage settings and cool-toned white gold. It's one of the more distinctive pieces among our women's engagement rings. Popular as:
- An heirloom-quality engagement ring for partners drawn to mermaidcore, ocean themes, or vintage aesthetics
- A nature-inspired alternative to white-stone solitaires for partners who want subtle color
- A meaningful gift for partners with affinity for forest, ocean, or fantasy imagery
- A vintage-inspired engagement ring without the cost of antique original pieces
- A permanent precious-metal ring intended to be passed down as a family heirloom
Production time & sizing
This ring is made to order. Please allow 2-6 weeks for production — each ring is handmade for the customer once ordered. Standard sizes available. Solid white gold rings can be resized within reason by a local jeweler — solid gold is forgiving for resizing, though the vintage halo and milgrain detail add slight complexity, so choose a skilled jeweler if adjustments are needed later.
Standard fine jewelry care: store in a cloth pouch or jewelry box separated from harder jewelry. Clean gently with a soft brush and warm soapy water to reach into the milgrain and halo settings, then dry with a soft cloth. Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools, hot tubs, or doing heavy hands-on work where the setting could catch on fabric or surfaces.
Green moissanite engagement ring FAQs
What color is this stone — green or teal?
The stone is a teal-green moissanite — a vivid blue-green color that reads slightly different depending on lighting. Some lighting pulls more toward forest green, other lighting pulls more toward Caribbean teal or ocean blue. The exact shade in person is closer to teal than pure green, but the color sits in the green-blue family rather than being a primary green or primary blue. Photos approximate the color but real-world appearance can vary slightly.
Which metal should I choose?
All four options are solid, precious, and built for daily wear. 10K white gold is the most durable and most affordable; 14K is our default and the classic balance of durability and gold content; 18K has the highest gold content for a richer feel; and platinum is a premium, naturally white metal that is denser, hypoallergenic, and never needs re-plating. If you want the best all-round value, 14K is the popular pick; if you want the most premium option, choose 18K or platinum. Every option keeps its white color permanently. Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K gold karat comparison guide covers the trade-offs in full.
Is this real solid gold?
Yes. The ring is crafted from solid white gold in your chosen karat — 10K, 14K, or 18K — or solid platinum, throughout. The bright white-silver color is the metal itself, not a plating layer. That means the color is permanent, won't fade, won't wear off, and the ring is suitable for daily wear over decades. Solid gold and platinum rings can also be resized and passed down as family heirlooms.
Is the moissanite real?
Yes. Moissanite is a real gemstone — originally discovered in a meteor crater in 1893 and now created in laboratory conditions to gem-quality specifications. It's not "fake" or "simulated" diamond; it's its own distinct gemstone (silicon carbide) with higher optical brilliance than diamond and 9-9.25 hardness on the Mohs scale. The teal-green color is created during the gemstone's growth process and is permanent.
How is moissanite different from diamond?
Moissanite has higher optical brilliance and fire than diamond — it actually sparkles more under light, with rainbow flash that diamond doesn't produce. It's lab-grown rather than mined, making it the more sustainable and ethical choice. At 9-9.25 Mohs hardness, it's the second-hardest gemstone after diamond and holds up perfectly to daily wear. And at this size and quality, it costs significantly less than equivalent natural diamonds or sapphires.
What does milgrain mean?
Milgrain (literally "thousand grains") refers to the tiny beaded line of metal along the edges of a ring — a hallmark of Edwardian and Art Nouveau-era jewelry from the early 1900s. Milgrain detail gives a ring a vintage, handcrafted character — the same ring without milgrain would read as modern; with milgrain, it reads as antique-inspired. This ring's milgrain edges run along both shoulders of the band, framing the small marquise-shaped openings with accent stones.
Is the halo setting durable?
Yes. The halo of small accent stones is securely set with prongs in solid gold, and the vintage style isn't fragile — Edwardian-style halos have been worn for over a century. The main considerations for daily wear are: avoid heavy impacts (which can dislodge accent stones from any halo design), and remove before activities involving harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.
Can I get this in yellow gold or rose gold instead?
Yes. White gold is the standard, and you can select 10K, 14K, or 18K white gold or platinum right from the drop-down. We also offer this design in 14K yellow gold or 14K rose gold on request — just contact us before ordering or leave a note at checkout.
How long does it take to make?
This ring is made to order — each piece is handmade once you order it. Please allow 2-6 weeks for production. We'll confirm your order details and timeline before production begins, and we'll ship it as soon as it's ready.
Can this ring be resized after purchase?
Yes — solid gold rings can be resized by a local jeweler. The vintage halo and milgrain detail add slight complexity to resizing — choose a skilled jeweler who can resize without disrupting the milgrain edges or halo prongs. We recommend ordering your correct size from the start whenever possible.
Is there a more accessible version of this ring?
Yes. We also offer this same vintage halo design in 925 sterling silver with rhodium finish at a more accessible price point. Same 6×8mm teal moissanite center stone, same milgrain and halo detail, same vintage aesthetic — just sterling silver metal instead of solid 14K white gold. Contact us or browse our sterling silver engagement ring collection for the alternative.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
