Every court needs a crown, and this one grew instead of being forged. The Fairy Queen moss agate and emerald lotus engagement ring in solid 14K yellow gold lifts an elongated marquise natural moss agate above a twisted vine band, where sculpted leaves, butterflies, and lab-grown emerald side stones gather like a coronation in a forest clearing — dainty in profile, regal in presence.
The marquise: a crown-maker’s cut
The elongated marquise silhouette does two things at once: it stretches gracefully along the finger, and it gives the moss agate maximum canvas to show its inclusions. Those green, branch-like formations grew inside the stone naturally, which means your ring is genuinely one of a kind — no other stone on earth carries the same pattern. The marquise has flattered hands for centuries; our guide to marquise engagement rings explains why it remains the most elongating shape you can wear.
Emeralds like morning dew
Trailing along the twisted vine band, lab-grown emerald side stones catch the light like dew on a spider’s thread. Lab-grown emeralds are real emeralds — the same beryl, the same saturated green as mined stones — grown in a controlled environment, which makes them an ethical, vividly clean way to double down on this ring’s woodland palette. Green on green: the emeralds echo the moss inside the agate, so the whole ring reads as a single living design.
Leaves, butterflies, and a twisted vine
The band twists like a vine climbing toward the center stone, with leaf and butterfly detailing worked into the gold in high polish. The profile stays dainty and nature-inspired — delicate enough for stacking, detailed enough to hold its own. It is fairy-tale metalwork in the most literal sense, and it sits comfortably among our fairy engagement rings and fantasy-inspired engagement rings for anyone building a full woodland look. If this is your aesthetic, our fairy engagement ring guide maps the whole style.
Solid yellow gold, chosen by karat
Pick your karat from the drop-down: 10K solid yellow gold is the most durable and most affordable, 14K is the classic balance of strength and rich color that most of our customers choose, and 18K carries the highest gold content for the deepest, warmest hue. Every option is solid gold all the way through, so the color is permanent. White and rose gold are available on request. Undecided? Our 10K vs 14K vs 18K karat comparison guide breaks it down.
A stone with a story to tell
Moss agate has long been read as a stone of growth, renewal, and rootedness — the qualities couples hope a marriage keeps. That symbolism is why so many modern brides choose it over tradition; our piece on moss agate meaning in relationships goes deeper. When you are ready to compare silhouettes, the full range of moss agate engagement rings and our nature-inspired engagement rings are the places to wander.

Sizing & care
Choose your ring size from the drop-down — half and quarter sizes are offered — and use our find-your-size guide if you want to measure at home first. Care is simple: remove the ring for heavy work and harsh chemicals, and clean it with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth. Moss agate and emerald both do best with gentle hand-washing rather than ultrasonic cleaners.
Frequently asked questions
Is the center stone a natural moss agate?
Yes. The marquise center stone is natural moss agate, and its green inclusions formed organically inside the quartz — no two stones share the same pattern, so your ring is truly one of a kind.
Are the side stones real emeralds?
Yes. The side stones are lab-grown emeralds — real emeralds with the same composition and color as mined stones, grown in a controlled environment for cleaner clarity and ethical sourcing.
Is this ring solid gold or plated?
It is solid gold in your chosen karat — 10K, 14K, or 18K — never plated or filled. The color runs through the entire ring and is permanent.
Which karat should I choose?
10K is the most durable and budget-friendly, 14K is the most popular balance of strength and warm color, and 18K has the highest gold content and the richest hue. All three are solid yellow gold.
Can I get this ring in white or rose gold?
Yes. Yellow gold is shown, but the design is available in white gold or rose gold on request — contact us before ordering and we will arrange it.
Why choose a marquise cut for moss agate?
The elongated marquise gives the stone a long, uninterrupted window to display its moss-like inclusions, and its pointed silhouette visually lengthens the finger — a flattering match for a dainty band.
What does moss agate symbolize?
Moss agate is traditionally associated with growth, grounding, renewal, and new beginnings — which is why couples drawn to nature so often choose it for engagement rings.
Is moss agate suitable for everyday wear?
Yes, with sensible habits. It is a quartz-family stone that wears well day to day; simply remove the ring for heavy or abrasive tasks and keep it away from harsh chemicals.
Will my stone look exactly like the photos?
Close, but never identical — that is the point. Each natural moss agate carries its own arrangement of inclusions, so your ring will have a pattern that exists nowhere else.
How should I clean this ring?
Wash it gently in lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth, then pat dry. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners, which are too aggressive for moss agate and emerald.
Is this ring made to order?
Yes. Each ring is crafted to order in your selected karat and ring size, so it leaves the workshop made specifically for you.
Does the ring suit a non-traditional bride?
Completely. Between the twisted vine band, the butterfly and leaf details, and a green stone instead of a white one, this is a fairy-core engagement ring designed for brides who want magic instead of tradition.
✨ Production time

Frequently Asked Questions
Every ring on this page is made in solid gold or platinum — never plated, never gold-filled. Solid gold comes in 10K, 14K and 18K across yellow, white and rose; our platinum is 95% pure, naturally hypoallergenic, and white the whole way through. Available metals vary by design and are listed in the selector above. Our Precious Metal Guide explains how each one wears.
Side by side and brand new, the two look almost identical. The difference shows up over years of wear.
White gold is a gold alloy finished with rhodium for brightness. It sits lighter on the hand and costs less, and the rhodium finish is refreshed every few years to keep it crisp.
Platinum is white all the way through, so there is no finish to renew. It is around 40% denser — noticeably weightier — and over time develops a soft matte patina that many people prefer. It can be polished back to a high shine whenever you like.
Our Platinum vs Gold guide compares durability, cost and upkeep in full.
Solid gold is gold throughout — alloyed for strength, but the same metal at the surface as at the core. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a layer of gold applied over it, which thins with wear and needs replating to stay bright. Rings on this page are solid gold or platinum only. Our Precious Metal Guide sets out where each makes sense.
Neither tarnishes. Gold and platinum are two of the most stable metals used in fine jewelry, and both hold their color indefinitely. Platinum does develop a satin patina as it is worn — that is surface texture rather than damage, and it polishes out at any time. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush is all either metal asks for; see our Jewelry Care Guide.
Nothing on this page is pulled from a shelf. Each solid gold and platinum ring is cast, set and finished for your order, which takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on the design — pavé settings, custom sizing and engraving sit at the longer end. Shipping is added once your ring is finished, and paying for faster shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten production. Full timings are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Use the Size Chart linked beside the Add to Bag button, or our full Ring Size Chart. Because these rings are made to order, we cut your size from the start rather than resizing a stock band — so measure carefully. Your first resizing is free if it is still not right. Most designs can be adjusted, though eternity bands and rings with stones set the whole way around usually cannot.
On most designs, yes — if engraving is available for this ring, a text field appears with the options above. Standard engraving is complimentary: up to 16 characters on women’s rings and 25 on men’s, set in Arial, with a small selection of symbols included. Custom fonts and symbols are $25 and are arranged before you order. See the Engraving page for what is possible. Engraved rings are final sale.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn rings in original condition. Because solid gold and platinum rings are made to order, they are subject to a restocking fee, and engraved pieces are final sale. Full terms are on our Returns & Refunds page. Every ring is also covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
